I have always enjoyed the Prairies as it was close by and usually in good shape. We had a tee time for today for four seniors and when we checked in we were absolutely amazed at the price $48 dollars for the senior rate. The tee boxes were fine, most of the greens were in good shape. There were 3 that were scared up from what looked like a burn of some kind that was healing. The traps, notice I did not say sand were absolutely horrid. There was no sand only dirt, spots of grass, and some dandelions. Many of the traps hand more rocks than some gravel pits. The gentleman that checked us in was p…

Disappointed in the new policy that doesn't allow groups of 2 before noon on Weekends. We were not allowed to book a time despite there being plenty of availability less than 24 hours in advance. We enjoyed playing here multiple times last summer but will go elsewhere.

Better shaped than the last time I played, which was 15 years ago. Competetively priced for two golfers, 9 holes, and a cart. $55 total. Soft greens, soft fairways, and the tee boxes were in good shape. Very straight course, not a lot of hazards. A relaxed round of golf, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Course isn't very well maintained, and has almost zero shot variety. All of that could be excused, because our group did have fun. The reason for so many stars lost comes down to the rude ranger. We were in the 9th hole when he comes rolling up to tell us we're slowing down to the entire course behind us, and we need to pickup pace of play. We explained that we'd been waiting for the group ahead of us on every tee, but that apparently didn't matter. We NEEDED to play faster. I will definitely not be returning here. The ranger thinks he's working for a ritsy country club or something. He could'…

$60, wont let you go out alone on wide open days, says walking takes too slow (even when you hit the ball straight) over priced, not customer friendly, won’t ever be back here again. Just all downhill since 2020

Not worth what they're charging, staff rude, we had a foursome playing with a twosome behind us we offered to let them play through they declined. kid of maybe 19 came and in his rudest possible tone told us we needed to speed up, and that 9 should only take an hour for four people. We were on the sixth hole of 9 in1.5 hours and finished the nine in 2 which is reasonable for a foursome.1hour would be less than 7 mins per hole for a foursome. Called Tuesday spoke to the general manager about the issue he said an hour wasn't acceptable but that they expect everyone should finish in two hours whic…

I was impressed by the quality of the tee boxes, greens and fairways at this course. The bunkers needed to be thoroughly raked how ever. Lots of people playing on a Wednesday night but they were able to get us on to play nine early in the evening. A reasonable price for nine with a cart.

Course conditions are good. Pro shop staff was friendly. Issue is slow play. Watched tge course ranger drive past our twosome 3 times leaving us behind two foursomes. To be fair one of the groups had a guy wearing blue jeans. Lets face it, if you wear blue jeans on a golf course you already know you are a d bag.

Course was ok, Could have a better map for directions. Some of the putting greens were covered in sticks. Employees were pretty rude. When we called and asked for an 18 hole tee time, when we finished 9 and moved to 10 the guy was very rude and said we only paid for 9 even though we asked for 18. He said it was too dark to play anyways even though we had over an hour till dark, and other people were still playing. But we watched them close the building and then play a round of golf.

Course staff is brutal. No one at the course and was going to play by myself. Was 1:30 and said couldn’t let me off until 4 and the parking lot was empty. Ranger has a huge ego and thinks the course is way more official than it really is. Course is decent but staff make it very tough to even want to play there. Wouldn’t recommend especially because of the ranger, big tough guy energy.

Beautiful course. Not great ranger staff. Had a small cooler on a slower day. Ranger took our cooler. We weren’t playing music or being obnoxious either. I know it was against policy to have one, but honestly... the guy had nothing better to do.

A well maintained (except for bunkers) classic course. Slope of 126 from whites. Easy to get to but tucked in behind the retail places on M43, so a little tricky to find the first time. Firm greens, not postage stamp like some courses of that vintage though. Large mature trees. A good value.
