In summary

Meadow Brook Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, with a challenging layout and excellent greens that provide a feel of private course conditions. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play, understaffing, and management, which can detract from the overall experience. Despite these concerns, the course remains a popular choice for its scenic setting and varied tee options.

Top public track in RI. Although it can be extremely slow on the weekends, it’s worth a shot off season or mid week. In rare fashion, we had the course to ourselves.

Beautiful fairways and greens, needs a driving range to warm up (plenty of space) and could use a ranger or two to speed up pace of play but loved the course

What an outstanding golf course. Beautiful layout that works its way through the native trees and hills. This course is meticulously maintained. Fairways were bent grass. Large greens were well protected by perfectly groomed bunkers, they rolled true on all 18. Play this course from the back and you're looking at +7,400 yards. Plenty of tee options in front of that. A very manageable 6,500 yards from the normal tees. No driving range, however. Great post round pub to eat and drink.

Easily top 5 Public Golf Courses in RI! Great layout, multiple tee boxes to choose from for different skill levels - amazing greens! I learned the owners also have Exeter - both GREAT courses - thank you for keeping them in such great shape!

Showed up for an 18-hole round on a Saturday afternoon in mid-May prime golf season and the first thing we’re told is “Sorry, we’re understaffed.” Not exactly a great start. There were already two groups of four waiting to tee off, and things were running at least 45 minutes behind. Pace of play was terrible. No ranger in sight to keep things moving, and after slogging through 11 painfully slow holes in 4.5 hours, I just walked off the course. To make things worse, there was no manager at the counter to even discuss a raincheck or refund. The course itself? Nothing special definitely not wor…

The course is really beautiful, can’t say enough good things about it, but the manager is an absolute jerk, he really knows how to make things difficult. Don’t over schedule, especially when there’s a tournament! We couldn’t finish because of delays and then due to darkness.

Was a lot better years before. Greens in rough shape cart paths are dusty sand traps weren’t rake full of foot prints very hard fairways for $77 should be in decent condition. There was 6 people playing in front of us????? Come on I understand it’s fall golf but

I really like this golf course and for a public course, it sort of feels like private course conditions. The greens are always fast, professionally designed layout, and some gorgeous views as well. Highly recommend golfing here.

Beautiful course, challenging, in great condition, would love to know how many miles this course is, many acres for sure, wide open.

The course was in excellent condition and it was fairly challenging. Only complaints are that there was nothing online that said anything about the aeration taking place days before and the person at the counter had a strange attitude.

Beautiful course with great conditions. The tee boxes were well kept and the green very challenging. The shoreline invitational was lucky to have great weather and a great course today. Thank you so much.
