We checked into to this resort on October 23, 2025 in preparation for our daughter's wedding that weekend at the resort. After reading several reviews I was nervous especially from being out of town and hosting 200+ guests for the weekend. From the time we checked in and throughout the entire weekend I could not have been happier with how everything played out! It is true, this is an older venue, it has it's visible flaws, however the service, kindness, and overall vibe really overshadow the flaws! Larry was so accommodating with our ever changing rooms / guests / stays etc. Aaron was very res…

We just checked out, and some of the reviews I read I was a bit nervous but we really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms may be outdated sure, but they were clean, and the staff was the most friendly great people I ever met and treated my children so great! The lady’s at breakfast helped my kids with everything, they just adored them and was so so kind! Then one of the lady’s who cleans the rooms overheard my son talking about wanting to find golf balls, and she went and left golf balls outside our room. Made him so so happy! Def recommend and will stay again if ever in the area!

Where to start. The worst hotel I have stayed in the last 40 years. No security. Run down. Elevator on its last leg, no way that passed inspection. Confusion as to who is collecting money for the hot buffet breakfast, front desk or guy making the food. No signs. Definitely not worth $17.00. Was there for a wedding. Food was cold. Red potatoes nearly raw. Roast Beef mostly fat. Again, no security in bar after wedding. Female employee begged party not to leave her alone with creepy guy (not with wedding guests). Manager finally arrived as he was leaving. Said they were down the street with the G…

No no no no. I cannot believe this place has passed any inspection. The ceilings are literally falling in Everywhere, water running through the ceiling tiles, saturated carpets, mold is so bad the entire back half of the building smells. Water running down walls. Every single ceiling tile is leaking... EVERY ONE.Hand rails falling off the walls. It was disgusting and should be visited by the health department. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my lifetime, this place is by far, the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Shameful to even be accepting guests.

Last minute booking after an out of town wedding! This hotel was absolutely gross! MASSIVE hotel that was dirty and outdated! We had to walk SO FAR to our room and I’m sure we were the only ones in the entire hotel! Terrible beds! Smelled of mold and mildew! Spider webs with insects in every corner of our room! Dark, dingy and felt very unsafe! I’ve traveled my entire life and have never stayed in a more disgusting hotel! Water stained tiles everywhere including an active water leak in our room resulting in a puddle in the corner! They should be shut down! ONE working elevator for the entire h…

It is sad that a facility with so much potential has been allowed to decline to such a state. There hasn't been any effort to refresh the property in many years. The landscaping is sad; the exterior is showing its age and only a few lights work in the parking lot. Our room's furnishings were well worn. The bathroom was rough and the ceiling tiles showed signs of mold. Our second floor room began leaking from the ceiling during a late-night rain. We were forced to use trash cans to catch the water. The staff was very nice and moved us into a new room. Our new room was even more worn than the or…

Room was clean, beds comfortable, small fridge and coffee maker in room, and great location off of I68 just before Morgantown - also beautiful views of golf course and mountain lake. Only negative I can say is that it was supposed to be a room for 5 adults, but there was only 2 queen sized beds - no sleeper sofa or rollaway bed for the 5th person and receptionist at front desk had no solution.

Well, we got the two story condo. It was decent. It is very dated. Couch, loveseat, beds, and recliner are very comfortable. The beds are very soft and so are the pillows. The beds were made nicely. Very spacious, the shower pressure was great, most things work. Loved having a full sized washer and dryer in the unit. We only stayed one night. Honestly, this place has potential. It looks as though they are trying to make an effort I did see some new things on other units and looking at the lobby, they are possibly going through a makeover. But I felt as though I was staying at someone's house a…

Aside from the fact that yes some of the place needs renovations….Our room was pristine! We really enjoyed the pool and other amenities! Staff was super friendly and I plan on golfing there in the future. For the price it’s well worth the stay!

Hotel Review I’m staying here now. I’m from Pittsburgh, migrated to Morgantown and I am hosting a wedding right up the road. The location was incredibly convenient as my wedding is just across the border in PA. I hadn’t seen the hotel, but after seeing the pictures posted online I felt this was a safe and reasonably priced option. In the beginning I had no intention of staying here. But after quite a few guests and family booked rooms here I thought I should join them…. Boy, I wish I would’ve stayed home. The pictures on the website must be from when they first opened the resort. The room is…

Horrible. Needs updated. No tv service. When I called the front desk he couldn't help me or even offer me a room with a tv he was sure that worked. He told he would send someone in the morning to fix the tv. Im checking out in the morning. No management available. Won't stay here or recommend this place to anyone.

This is the second time I've been there in the past 17 years. The first was for a conference and the second was a family event. I was not impressed 17 years ago and even less impressed with the event this month. The lobby has improved, is less dark and seems comfortable. We did not have a room this time as the first time but from what we observed, the hotel has not really improved. Fixtures generally in parts of the hotel seem old and not well maintained. This is especially noticeable in the public restrooms. The one redeeming feature is that people are friendly and cooperative, especially a…
