This course offers something few other courses can replicate: a pure absence of other humans and their noise. I played a full round and never exchanged a word with anyone, including paying for the round and getting set up with a cart. In the middle of a 10 hour drive from Santa Fe, this is a perfect break from the monotony of a pretty empty road. My only complaint is that the course was too green and overwatered. They could save some water (AKA money) and leave the course is a more natural state and it would play better and fit in with the natural scenery. I haven't played here since 2007.
