In summary

Bentwood Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic setting, friendly staff, and family-friendly amenities, including trails and a park area. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and fairways, and noted that the pricing may not reflect the course's current state. While the course layout is generally enjoyed, improvements in upkeep could enhance the overall experience.

Beautiful place to take the kids. Ducks and a small play area, a wonder rest area, and lots of places to walk around and enjoy the beautiful small town of ulysses

Absolutely the worst kept golf course in a decently sized community in southwest Kansas. Never will I spend another penny there. Especially after talking to members on the course who say it’s been in that condition for 5 years now. If I would have known before playing I would have not spent my money. Don’t go golfers. There are much better alternatives.

Course is in exceptionally rough shape. Some greens have almost more sand and dead spots than grass. Many of the fairways have large dead patches. I understand we’re in a drought; however, I have not seen many worse 18 hole courses in my life conditions wise. On top of the conditions, they try to charge you $46 for 18 holes and a cart on a weekday. Go play Dunes or Mariah Hills for cheaper. I’m thankful I got a tee time on GolfNow for $25. Still felt like a rip off. The back nine is a fun layout, and even has a 600-yard par 5. The course really needs help though.

Do not waste your time or money. Very bad shape. Most greens are in name only! Fairways are shabby at best. This is sad because 6-7 years ago this was a nice course to play.

There is an rv park located at this golf course. They charge $15 a night for water and electric hook up. The main problem was, if you do not have a long cord, and water hose you are not hooking up. The area was beautiful, but the rv area was not maintained it seemed. My dog didn't even want to step foot off the concrete pad because he kept getting stickers in his feet. The customer service was terrible, not helpful at all, but I am not a golfer so I could not tell you about the course side of things. I will never stay here again, you get a nicer deal parking at Walmart, or a truck stop even fo…

This is a Really awesome Golf Course. Greens are looking Good. They are working a little on some of the holes but still playable. I like the 18th hole, shoot it over the pig pond.

For the cost, it was fine. Nothing fancy, early in season, so could use some spring clean up. Nice staff, friendly people.

That place is very nice and inexpensive. The only problem we had was kids and young adult would drive by being loud regularly during the evening
