Prestine golf! I won't let 50mph wind ruin my golf trip! I played on a Friday(10-13-23) morning when a front was moving through. I was the only one of the course. They did have temp greens on three holes and they were doing some sod work. Only making improvements to a beautiful course. I am happy I made the trip up. $45 with a cart is a great deal. Garrett was great to visit with in the pro shop. Scored a sweet hat. Thanks Buffalo Dunes!!

Great course, some tuff shots, short par 4s can be tricky, greens putt well and hold your ball.

Definitely a fun place to golf. Friendly staff always there. Reasonable prices for playing. One of the services I like is that you can call the club house, and they can run you out food, beer, whatever you need. 18 holes and some I favor very much, like hole 13. Sometimes very quiet when no one is out there. Making playing time longer, and more favorable.

Loved my time playing here. Three holes were under renovation, but if they turn out like the rest of the course, it’ll just add to what I felt was a much greater golf experience than I hoped for. If I’m back in the area, I’m stopping again for sure!

Beautiful course! We had a blast playing! The course was in fantastic shape. The hospitality was excellent! John and everyone else in clubhouse were exceptional! We had a wonderful trip and plan to do it again!

I would give the course itself four stars. Beautiful layout through the hilly, windswept western Kansas countryside. It was not in the very best of shape (I played in early June), but not bad. The layout is what sets it apart, however. But service, I would rate zero stars. I have no idea how this course shows up in Golf Week's list of best public courses by state if service is part of the judging metric. I had made a reservation over the phone for 18 holes, and found out when I got there I could only play one nine due to women's league. I was disappointed, but mistakes happen. I asked what ti…

Great course in a small town. Better than any course I play in the city or suburbs. Grass is in great shape, lush and green. Sand is great and easy to hit out of. Course isn’t too difficult but has some elevation change that makes it fun but not annoying to play. Ball can get lost in the perfectly conditioned rough but finding it in the weeds can be surprisingly easy. Just a really fun course to play.

From start to finish, brilliant! A green oasis in Kansas countryside, which is great vfm! Reception staff were friendly and informative. The course is in excellent condition: fairways, rough and the greens were second to none. Each hole is different, fair but challenging. The 19th hole was the best reception we’ve ever received on any of our trips to the US from England. Would recommend this course to anyone. Certainly the #1 public course we’ve played in our travels around the US.

The course was great, I throughly enjoyed playing there. I was only able to play 9 holes as they were hosting some type of event that day but it was definitely worth it. Cannot wait to come back and play all 18 one day. The only thing I have to say is that the staff in the front was not very friendly, not that they were mean to me but they just seemed annoyed that I was there and asking to many questions regarding products in the pro shop. I do understand that they may have been super worn out from the days event going on and we're ready to just go home, but I truly did fell unwelcomed. That i…
