In summary

Cimarron Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and beginner-friendly environment, making it an enjoyable experience for many visitors. The course is noted for its challenging layout, particularly the long par 4s, and its scenic setting amidst rural Kansas. However, some visitors have experienced issues with preparedness, such as lack of range balls and soft tee box grounds, which have affected their overall experience.

Great bargain! I really appreciated the mounds around the greens and off the fairways. Greens were fast, big, and very nice to putt. The fairways were exceptional to hit from. The last hole is a challenge, 470 yards par 4, from the whites, wow, you would pray for a strong South wind to help you. This is as nice a course as you would like to play.

Not prepared for golfers. Carts weren't out. They were out of range balls and the young lady working the desk said she didn't know how to fill the range ball machine. She didn't make any attempt to try or to contact someone that could instruct her, but wanted to sit in the clubhouse and read. Took about 45 minutes to figure all of this out before we could start our round. Tee box ground was extremely soft and would not support a ball on the tee. Made it too difficult to play the round. Overall, not a good experience. Will not play there again.

Not the hardest course. But still super fun. Wouldn't recommend walking on a hot day since there is very little shade.
