Terrible greens (see photos). Traveled 50 minutes and paid 35$ completely unaware of course conditions until seeing the first hole green myself. Pretty disappointing. Pick any other course

I recently visited the Hickory Golf Club and had a fantastic time! Not only is the golf course beautifully maintained and challenging, but they also offer the unique option to play football golf! It was a blast trying out this new twist on traditional golf, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities are top-notch, and the scenery is stunning. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just looking for a fun day out with friends, Hickory Golf Club has something for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out - and be sure to give football golf a try

Played 9 holes last night. Great course. It's pretty open so you won't lose your ball. Has a few challenging holes for sure. Seemed to be very well taken care of. I will definitely be back to play again.

Course is looking fantastic! Staff is superb. Carts need some attention but still, this course and clubhouse are top notch. Attached BBQ restaurant is fabulous.

Great staff, great layout and great property. Had a few issues with disease in crazy summer weather but greens are coming back. Keep up the great work Sean!!

If you haven't been in since they've changed names, you're missing out! We stopped here a few years ago when the restaurant was under different management and were a little disappointed in the offerings. We were in for a great surprise when we stopped today. The menu was filled with a great variety- choices for every appetite. The meals were well presented, generous and delicious. The staff were excellent. Attentive, friendly and well paced in their service. Black Angus is a great choice!

Beautifully kept course. They continue to update/renovate the clubhouse and cater to the community with the amazing new simulators, and the staff/management are some of the nicest, most professional individuals of any club I've been to! The director is particularly friendly and really knows what he's doing.

Great golf course from start to finish! Nice people in the clubhouse to start out. Golf course is very well maintained and greens are fantastic! Very true roll. The course is challenging and makes you hit shots, but you can score. Really looking forward to playing there again soon!!

My husband and I golfed 18 holes here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Nice course. We’ll likely return at some point. However, the port a pot on the course is o e of the nastiest I’ve seen in a very long time, and I attend 3-4 day long music festivals. Feel like that in itself speaks volume. Do better.

Played Hickory today with 7 other 70 plus year old men. It was cart path only. We were not told cart path only, if we would have been told we would have not played. The tough was over our shoe tops, the sand traps (I mean the mud and grass traps) were terrible. This is NOT a $40.00 golf course (more like $20.00). None of our 2 foursomes will return to this course. Rating this would be a 4 out of 10. Only because the greens are in good shape. 2 STAR COURSE.

Very nice course. Clubhouse is plain but clean. The course itself was in great shape. The best fairways and greens I have seen in a while. Very well manicured. They were even blowing cut grass off the fairways. Plenty of trees so you need to keep it straight. Pretty straightforward course for someone who hasn’t played it before. I recommend.

Brought a friend to teach him golf for his first time ever. Management was very rude for the reason of us, “taking too long.” Carts turn off if you go off the cart path. Might as well walk the course. Seems they’ve spent a lot of money on new carts, while the sand pits are more like hard dirt. Greens are that of a lower to mid tier golf course. Ponds are brown. Fairways and flag pins are crisp and clean, no need to worry about those.
