In summary

Heise Hills Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained, scenic 9-hole layout, which offers a family-friendly atmosphere and picturesque views of the Snake River and nearby foothills. The on-site pizzeria is a highlight, frequently noted for its delicious offerings. However, some visitors express frustration with policies requiring payment for non-golfing companions and children, as well as occasional dissatisfaction with staff interactions and course pricing.

The pizza is amazing. The course is well maintained for a mountain course. We love golfing here. Here’s my beef. Why does a five year old who is maybe hitting 1/4 of the shots being charged full price? Yes, I get it’s cheap, but it’s the principle. Also - if you are on the course, you’re paying. No walkers to just enjoy the day with the people who want to golf? Last… why am I asked to tip when paying for my green fees? No thank you. But the guy hovering over me while I sign the slip makes me feel obligated. Loosen up. You’re a small mountain town course where people like to go enjoy with famil…

A cool nine hole course that is right next to the campground, zip lines, the best pizza place around, and they screens. The fun place we hit here in there during the summer to get out of town and play.

Only wish I would have known about it sooner. 7 par 3s and 2 par 4s. Very cool, scenic course.

This is a great little 3 par course that is well maintained. It is a fun area for family enjoyment, with camp grounds that accommodate all types of outfits, from tents to luxury motorcoaches. Their little restaurant has very good pizza, although a bit pricey. The property is located along the South Fork of the Snake River. There are hot-spring-fed swimming and soaking pools and picnic tables throughout the grounds.

They have a terrible rule about not being able to walk the course with those who are golfing. We didn’t even have any young children that would cause a problem. Even high end golf courses allow people to accompany the golfers. It forced our family to split apart and that was the whole reason we were there in the first place. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else where we had a wonderful time. This review is for the golf coarse only! The rest of the area was very nice.

Can't find a more picturesque location for a golf course in the area. You get the beautiful views of the Snake River rolling by and the foot hills of Kelly Can you just across the street. The greens are well maintained and the price is reasonable. Plus, their pro shop has a killer cafe that serves an amazing calzone, salad, and pizza. Open year round.

Delicious pizza, great service and a pleasant family atmosphere. It's fun to go ski, hike, ride or swim first and then go eat some hot pizza together.

Such a fun, low cost, 9 hole course. Go give it a whirl to sharpen up on your iron/short game.

Pretty chill. Not the best golf course, but very relaxing and AWESOME pizza. Great place to spend an afternoon with the family.

The course is fun but they will make you pay for every kid and force you to rent clubs even if your child doesn't golf.
