Sage Lakes is a great place to play golf in Idaho Falls. It’s the youngest of the 3 city courses, but it’s fun. Fairly wide open and challenging at the same time. The pro shop is filled with all of the golf stuff you want and need - polo shirts, golf shoes, golf gloves, golf balls, towels, and golf bags. You can rent clubs, golf carts and pull carts. You can get a season pass to play any time they are open all season long (including the other 2 city courses). In the winter, they have a golf simulator to play with. Come play, try it out. You’ll have fun!

Find 18 hole course just outside of town. People are friendly, nice greens, trees are coming in. A couple nice ponds. We have a couple chip and putt courses next to the 18 hole course. Overall a nice place to spend the day playing golf.

Had a good time playing a casual round on the front 9. Rented a cart which all appear to be maintained well. The course offered some rewarding holes and quality customer service.

Cory has been so helpful improving my golf game. He is patient and understanding during lessons. He has helped me understand both my body and my mind while I am learning to golf. 100/100 recommend for personal lessons.

Took some lessons from PRO associate Cory Payne to help my swing, which needed a lot of work. Cory helped to adjust my technique in a way that felt very natural. Highly recommend taking lessons in the 3 pack if there are some elements of your game you want to improve

To get a tee time for this course you have to be waiting on the website at 7 a.m. or praying for a cancel. This isn’t because it’s a prestigious course or anything, but the sheer volume of Idaho Falls. With that, you can still walk on whenever YOU’D LIKE! Great for walk on’s, frustrating as hell watching 2 groups tee off because the course doesn’t care about pace of play. My suggestion, save up and pay for the country club. I’ve wasted more time WATCHING golf than I have actually golfing.

I love this course! It's a very simple layout, but it's kept up nicely. I will say there is occasional flooding in the fairway, but it's absolutely beautiful with great water features. The trees are coming along quite nicely!

Great course was pretty fun to walk on the front 9 but lost 2 of my favorite balls to the pond on the 5 or 6th hole. We were being rushed by the guy cleaning up the greens at noon which was lame but I wasn't really keeping score anyways

We played 18 here, overall nice course, very flat and not super challenging outside of the water. It's super cool how it goes back across the road and into the neighborhood, very cool design. Overall good experience, it would be cooler if it was slightly more challenging ex. more trees, elevation changes, etc. But hey, you can't really change that.

Course was in superb shape when I played (Aug 2013). Greens were fast and smooth, challenging without being tricked-out. Course overall is flat with modest sized trees. Water comes into play on about half the holes. An excellent venue for walking. At 4500+ feet altitude, course plays shorter than what might expect (usually 1-2 club difference). No GPS or beverage cart service, but staff was friendly and helpful. Relatively easy access off of I-15 or Hwy 20. Pleased to recommend.

Played in a 2 man tournament last year (first time playing here) and it’s a great course! Looking forward to playing it again this year.
