Great Trail Golf Club

Beautiful course!!! A must go to in Ohio!! The rooms are wonderful. Staff is friendly and very accommodating! We had dinner at Heritage and the food was amazing!! It is a Favorite golf getaway for us!!

Played 7/19/2025 for the first time. We drove about an hour from Youngstown area. We played all 27 today as a twosome. We played from the tips. Course layout is incredibly enjoyable. The greens are in fantastic shape, having worked at a country club course for past year these were in way better shape, props to the grounds crew for fantastic job. Course is challenging and also score-able. Not the ideal course if you do not have a range finder with slope. Definitely enjoyed the experience. They do have a driving range and putting green. We had my Bachelorette party at Great Trail and it was SO much fun!! The course was fun to play, definitely challenging at times, but absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were so cute and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! We ate dinner at Heritage and the food was fantastic! They even lit a bonfire for us. Definitely recommend a stay and play, just stay for a round, book an outing or event and stay for some delicious food! Thank you for making our weekend so much fun!

Amazing course! Great conditions and outstanding location and surroundings. Definitely not the easiest course. Challenging greens, different elevations and a couple of sharp turns. I had such a great time. One of the best and more beautiful courses in the area. Friendly staff. I just hope they get their logo balls soon so that I can add it to my collection. Totally recommended! Update: they got their beautiful logo balls and sent me one home! (I live in a different state) You are the best! Thank you Great Trail Golf Course!

Great Trail Golf Course is top notch. The new owners have put their hearts & souls into bringing this already awesome course back to life, and it shows!! From the now gorgeous Club House, to the completely remodeled Inn Rooms + new Outdoor Seating Area, Improvements to the Cart paths + bridges, New equipment to better care for the course, New + improved golf carts, a GORGEOUS event center & high end restaurant.. This is a whole new experience for guests! You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful course. Wonderful, helpful staff. This weekend was my third trip for a stay and play. The course and food is better every time. Looking forward to returning in the fall, before there are too many leaves.

Beautiful setting, not the longest course but has several of interesting holes, like a nice stroll through the woods, the green can be tricky but are in great shape. The highlight for me was the restaurant upstairs fantastic food and service. The staff across the board was great.

We had a group of 17 down there in late October, staying in all the rooms. This was a father/son weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Steve, Cathy and team couldn't have been more accommodating to our group. We rented the extra room for a place for us all to play cards and watch football in the evenings. The course was in perfect shape. This time of year, you would expect leaves all over the greens with all.the trees on the course, but Steve and team are out early with the blower. We had our annual golf trip to Great Trail Golf Course. It's my 6th trip to this course. We played 27 holes the first day, 27 holes the second day and 18 holes the third day before going back home. All 27 holes are in excellent shape. Greens are fast and smooth. The people are really nice. The rooms have been re-done and are really nice and clean. They remade their banquet hall into a restaurant and is beautiful. They made a ton of improvements to this place since I've joined the group that makes this trip every year. GREAT !!!! What a wonderful find for me and my friends. This course is beautiful with course knowledge being key. I live 5min from Boulder Creek and will now drive to play here instead over one hour drive, Food is awesome with excellent draft beer. Owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Had an absolute blast playing and staying at great trails this past weekend. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate completely the course was still in great condition and was so much fun to play. The new inn was incredible and the perfect place to stay after a long day golfing. The staff and owners are all incredible and make you feel like family. Thank you Andy and Amanda for your hospitality we can’t wait to come back!

A buddy and myself golfed 18 this past Sunday here. We hadn't been here for a few years due to the previous owners being rude on more than one occasion. The course was in excellent condition and all the staff were super friendly! Between the course conditions, revamped clubhouse, staff, and great food, the new owners are definitely doing things right!! Beautiful course!
