In summary

The Great Outdoors RV & Golf Resort is frequently praised for its beautiful grounds, extensive amenities, and friendly community atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained golf course, diverse activities, and the quality of the on-site restaurant, The Blue Heron. However, some guests have raised concerns about interactions with security staff and the enforcement of traffic rules within the resort, as well as occasional issues with WiFi and cable TV availability.

We love, love, love TGO!!! Best kept secret on the Florida Atlantic coast. The wildlife, the activities and fun things to do, the beautiful golf course and all of the gorgeous grounds. But, most of all, the people. We found in so many of the other upscale resorts that people could be a little snobbish. Not here. Great people, great fun, and endless activities. The restaurant, The Blue Heron, is excellent! And we watch every Atlantic coast launch from our front porch. Could not recommend it more. Come and stay…you won’t ever want to leave!

Park itself is nice. But the class of people living here is much to be desired. Multiple times within a week police cars full sirens blaring flying into park. People driving golf carts by with dogs barking on them driving through park early morning waking you up.

We stayed5 days with a 5thWheel at this private community, renting out some sites, we payed 89/day. One Star is for the Pools and one for the restaurant. The missing three Stars are for no WiFi, for no c TV and for missing table and chairs. Whoever doesn't need this - it's fine.

If you want to deal with crazy “members” and golf course staff, then this is your spot!!! Played there two weeks ago. Waited on EVERY SINGLE SHOT. The course employees wouldn’t stop harassing us. I’m a 3 handicap, we weren’t doing a damn thing wrong but a member kept calling on us (she was even complaining about kids fishing). Sad to see a place get ruined by terrible members and staff.

We recently stayed at The Great Outdoors in Titusville and, overall, had a really great experience. The campground is beautiful our site was clean and well-maintained, and the heated pool was a big plus. Everything felt well cared for, and the amenities were excellent. A special shoutout to Nancy at the front desk she was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Every interaction with her was warm and helpful, and she truly made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, our first impression of the resort was tainted by a very unpleasant encounter. Upon arrival, a CSA (Security) named Her…

I’d like to know what Florida statue gives security guards the right to conduct a traffic stop? It doesn’t exist. they are conducting an illegal act. Just because they are on private property doesn’t give them the right to impersonate a police officer and violate people‘s fourth amendment, right. I saw them pull over a car in front of me for speeding. Had they done that to me I would have arrested them on the spot.

I highly recommend this place. It's like a small city. Nice-sized pads and scenery. On site Post Office (cash or check only), Blue Heron restaurant (👍👍👍👍👍), pickleball and tennis courts, golf cart rentals at a decent price. On site real estate office if you want to buy.

Beware when driving through here. I got a speeding ticket by an old man and a blue shirt. The Brevard Sheriff's Office told me they don't actually have the right to pull people over and give them speeding tickets. Nobody that works there is certified to run a speed radar and that guy told me he had me on radar at 26. Couldn't provide proof of the radar or proof of calibration or proof of certification. I was told to pay my ticket at the front gate before I leave. That is not illegal legitimate ticket they are just trying to get money out of people.
