In summary

Grantwood Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging layout, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both local and visiting golfers. The course offers a variety of amenities, including a driving range, putting green, and event center. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent course conditions, such as patchy greens and unkempt bunkers, as well as occasional issues with customer service and management practices.

Have not played here since 2000’s. Wow the course is in awesome condition. Great tees, fairways and greens. It is a good bargain too. You will be pleased with the course condition snd the challenge. The bunkers were pretty stiff/hard. I was able to get out of the one I went into. They have a driving range, putting green and a rare and very nice pitching and chipping green. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great job! I’d play here more but I’m from Houston.

Lovely course. We enjoyed playing here for the Babes of 1916 fundraiser.

This course has so much potential but is consistently mismanaged. Embarrasing how they bump their rates to higher than Gleneagles which is levels ahead of this course. Good layout just wished this course was actually cared about more by management instead of just raising the rates on a course that looks worse than the year before. Please actually try grantwood.

This course plays tougher than the rating, especially from the blues. There aren't too many straight fairways, seems like everything is an angle. Use your golf apps and steer clear of hazards. Many greens are well bunkered and slope towards you. There's a drainage ditch that meanders through the course that may catch you. Medium speed greens, medium condition (typical public course). Fun to play, made me think. They have a driving range, putting green, and chipping green.

Played here twice this year, greens are spotty, tee boxes look like they havent been touched all year. Bunkers (thank go i didn't hit any) appear somewhere between a pit of mud, swimming pool or rock garden. In my opinion there are far better courses for the price you pay here. NICK TREAT needs a lesson on grounds keeping.

Golfed here about 6-7 times so far this year and normally have a good experience. I have never been treated so poorly as today and will honestly never come back. Noticed on Golf Now that the entire afternoon was open due to it being 90 degrees so I thought I would go play a quick 9. Walked in the clubhouse and the guy asked me for my tee time. Told him I didn’t have one and was hoping to get out for 9 walking and was told “that’s gutsy for you to come in on a Saturday without a tee time”. Then tells me that he could send me off now but won’t let me play by myself. Since there were no other gro…

The course is always in good shape. I enjoy playing here. We play our Thursday travel league here and everyone looks forward to the course. It was a windy cool day but the course still played well.

Was in the area for work and found this course. Played 9 in the early evening. Overall good with some challenging holes. Greens were a bit beat up in parts thought.

Not as pristine as 2023. Wish it gets back to its glory days. Layout is awesome. Greens fuzzy. Fairways not cut. Fringe very high Tee boxes on the white set many divots. Hope 2026 is better for the course. 🙏

We became husband and wife 09/09/2023 at this marvelous establishment. It was a perfect mid afternoon wedding filled with family, friends and amazing memories. The only drawback was that they failed to be honest about the heat being on and the guest were very very hot. But that was minimal when I think of all the family, friends and memories.
