Barrington Golf Club

Played as a club guest and was very happy with the entire experience. Great staff. Course is well maintained and right in front of you for the most part. I found the greens more subtle than the website suggests but not in a bad way.

Beautiful place for a bridal shower or any other event. Excellent food and service.

A beautiful course any time of day... while I don't golf at sunrise I walk the course (possibly against the rules) and post a nice sunrise photo from early December. It is also quite amazing in the winter and the views from the clubhouse are great. Viewing from there would certainly be within the 'rules'! The event space is also lovely.

The food is always fantastic. We have enjoyed dining with family here many times. The elegant dining area overlooks the golf couse and is very relaxing. The patio is nice on a cool summer day. The service is wonderful from valet to wait staff.

Well run and efficient. As beautiful as you would expect from this type of a club.

My husband and I had our wedding at Barrington in June and it was wonderful. The venue is stunning and transforms even more beautifully from its every day to a wedding than we could have expected. Elyse and Jillian were great to work with for coordination and the getting ready rooms were amazing! We loved that most of the wedding was outdoors and the flexibility it gave people during the reception. Would highly recommend having a wedding there!

Pure in every way.

I had the opportunity to play as a guest with a member. The course was amazing. However, it is bad course management to have kids running the show at the starter station and in the pro shop. No course ranger either to move groups along. We were stuck behind a foursome of elementary school aged kids walking who held up pave of play for 9 holes. The member pointed out that walking is not permitted until 4pm. It is in every newsletter, but these kids were allowed. It made for a 2.5 hour front 9. Then we get to the back 9 and groups that didn't play the front were in front of us again holding up p…

The course is pristine.. even after a downpour for 15 minutes the course still played face and drained quickly. The restaurant and club house staff were courteous and respectful.. would love to go back

As a guest it was a great experience. Everyone was very nice. The course was in very nice condition despite a lack of rain lately .The greens played very fast so I had to adjust my game. I hope I get another opportunity someday to play there again.

This is a beautiful course that is maintained wonderfully. Fairways are generous and greens are true and fast. If only golfers would fix their marks on greens. That's my only knock on the course, and that's more of a reflection on the players than the crew. Come on guys, respect your course and clean up after yourself.
