I had not played at Gibson Bay for a few years. The course was in pretty good shape but a lot of courses are struggling with their grasses due to the amount of rain we’ve had this year. No exception here. Number 1 and 7 fairways were the worst with #7 have zero grass in many places (no picture). And like I said previously this is not necessarily the fault of the golf course but due to adverse weather conditions this spring and summer. On the other hand, the greens were very nice and fast. It took me several holes to get used to the speed. I give it a 5 Star just because of layout and the condi…

Great course, beautifully maintained greand and fairways. It is challenging and easy at the same time. Great warm-up areas, driving range, and small par three for beginners. Clubhouse was Venice for a cool time out. A must for another round OR 2,3,4,

My husband and friend recently started golfing this course. I ride (or walk) along and take pictures. The people that work here are so friendly and helpful. The course is beautiful. Hole 17 is particularly cool.

Great course at a great price! What a gem! Everything was well kept greens were great. Tee boxes were a little rough on the par 3s, but that's to be expected in late fall. Came down from Cincinnati, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Everything we hoped for. My son and I were spending one day in Lexington and wanted to find a course where we could play a round that would not be too tough for us as he's just beginning to play and I'm starting again after 25 years of not playing. Gibson Bay was the perfect option. It's a beautiful course for a very reasonable price. The staff was extremely friendly when I called to schedule a late afternoon tee time. The course was beautiful. There were a few bare spots and some imperfections on the greens, but it's early spring, and that should be expected. It's a gently rolling landscape w…

Spectator carts $40, one of the most expensive places we have had. Gas carts not much power. Friendly staff.

Great golf course in really good shape. Challenging with some blind tee shots that require accuracy and what out for the greens as they are really quick.

The course is nice but they put tee times too close together. Only 10 min between groups of 4 people and constantly refuse to let you start on the back 9 holes even when nobody is on it. Today there’s 3 groups in front of me and I’m playing alone and only one group of 2 on the back 9 and STILL wouldn’t let me start on the back 9

Played golf here yesterday and the woman riding around on the golf cart that had Ranger flag attached to It was very smart-alicky and rude. If you don’t like your job, find another job. A simple question doesn’t deserve a rude response.
