In summary

Galena Ridge at Silver Mountain Resort is highly praised for its stunning mountain setting, well-maintained course, and challenging yet enjoyable layout, with dramatic elevation changes and unique holes. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the course's natural beauty, though some note the lack of a clubhouse and inconsistent bunker conditions. Despite being a 9-hole course, it offers a rewarding experience with plans for expansion, making it a must-visit for golf enthusiasts.

A true mountain golf adventure. Immaculately maintained with lush greens and a challenging layout—especially in the wind. The course climbs steadily up the mountain ridge before winding back down, offering dramatic elevation changes and rarely a flat lie on holes 1–3 and 6–7. Stunning scenery throughout, with a vibe that feels straight out of Yellowstone. A fun, rugged test of golf.

Amazing course with some awesome holes!!! Was in great shape, challenging, but fun, club house guy was super friendly and helpful. Marshall was out and very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Tough but fun lay out. Bunkers are very punishing, better have your A bunker game in place. Greens were a bit slower than I like. Scenery was stunning and multiple down hill shots were fun.

This is by far my favorite 9 hole in the US. If it was 18, it could be absolute favorite. You will notice even when you drive up the well paved road, this was going to be a destination golf course. They just never finished the back nine and there is no club house, which I feel adds to the outstanding feel of nature golf. The views are stunning, tee blocks impeccable, fairways and greens were ideal. If you have ever played the wilderness club in Montana, you will feel like you are there. There is only one house on number 7, besides that, you are out in nature playing some very challenging and o…

Wonderful wonderful 9 hole golf course. The Split tee boxes make it an 18 hole challenge. Every hole is unique with many elevated tees. Greens are fast and you need to read the break on every putt. The course is in great shape. Pictures are from a few tee boxes. A must play.

What a gem, nestled on the side of a mountain! Beautiful vistas, plenty of flora and fauna to admire...but oh the golf! This is an undiscovered treasure, a fun but challenging 9-hole course. Great design and not overrun like city courses!

Great course and greens were amazing Don't come if you expect a high end lodge or range. This is an alpine course with great views and challenging terrain. Limited food options so don't be picky. Come for pure golf and think darts.

It is an absolutely beautiful course. I hope they rumors are true that they are trying to build another 9 holes. It is definitely worth playing
