In summary

Ponderosa Springs Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained par-3 layout, ideal for beginners and those looking to practice their short game, with a scenic setting featuring water and sand obstacles. The course is noted for its friendly atmosphere and decent amenities, including a bar and restaurant. Is it certainly worth stopping in? If you want a quick easy round of golf. We would definitely do it again, just because it's easy to get to and is a very nice stop on a long road trip.

If you are a new beginner to the sport or want to just practice on your game, then come check out ponderosa golf course.. Not a bad price and worth it for the 9 holes you can play. Beautiful location, nicely groomed and easy to get around as it's small and more of a back and forth course. Lots of water areas around the course, trees and hills so you get a good variety of obstacles.. If you get hungry they have a restaurant and offer drinks and snacks for sale as well.

Had never been in the clubhouse (or whatever you call a golf course bar). It is a great low-key bar. Friendly service, decent drink at a reasonable price. Games, sports tv. We didn't eat, but it is affiliated with Capone's, so if you like them...

I’ve been a regular at Ponderosa Springs for a while now — I live right next to it and usually play once or twice a week around 8 p.m. It’s always been a chill, enjoyable experience, especially for a quick evening round at a par 3 course. Tonight, I showed up as usual and approached the bar to check in like I always do. When I asked the server if I could play a round, she abruptly told me no. I thought she was joking at first, so I laughed and said, “I’ll just take one round of golf,” but she repeated “no,” saying they don’t let anyone out an hour before sunset. I let her know I’ve played at…

Fun course for working on your short game. Not many trees but plenty of water and sand to work around. Most of the geens were pretty spongy and slow when we visited.

The restaurant was awful. There was no one there when we got there .It's supposed to be a Capones but 2 of the items ordered they didn't have and when my husband ordered they didn't have. So I just ordered a hamburger and fries ($17)and he ordered fries ($8)so $25 total which we paid cash . Then both of our fries were cold in the middle so he sent them back and the 2nd plate his were still frozen in the middle. Also my bun was cold and my fries were cold. It is the 1st time I've ever sent back a whole plate .We went to eat somewhere else. Instead of a refund the waitress gave us a $25 gift car…

Executive golf courses are ideal for keeping your game sharp. 9 or 18 holes of par three golf gives you a rhythm to your short game. New owners are doing great except for the loud music on the patio. (Glad I'm not a neighbor to the clubhouse.)

Service wasn’t great but the course was tons of fun and loved the layed back vibe, (if you are a serious golfer don’t be serious here) it’s mostly just for fun and practice. All together I had an amazing time

Great day of golfing. Expect a casual experience, with good enough greens.

Great place to play if you want to work on your short game. Only need your Sunday bag if you are an avid player because we only used our 7, 8, 9, PW, and putter. No need for tees either. Everything can be played from the ground. Fairways are very narrow but I like this because they keep you honest. The longest hole is 199 yards. Hole 3's green sits in a bowl next to the road if you over shoot it your ball will land in the street behind (based on experience). 4 has a pond to left 20 yds beforethe tee, a sand trap to the right about 5 yds away, and houses about 15 to 20 yds to the right of the f…

I guess it’s an okay course for what it is. Wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back. Tee boxes are beat up and too crowded for the course layout. Plenty of potential to get hit
