In summary

The Links Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained conditions, open layout, and friendly, welcoming staff, making it an enjoyable experience for both beginners and more advanced golfers. The course offers unique features such as a par 6 hole and a grass driving range, adding to its appeal. However, some visitors mention challenges with wind and the potential for losing balls in the rough, as well as occasional slow pace of play.

Great little course. I'm taking lessons through the city of Rathdrum parks and recreation and the staff is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They break everything down to it's simplest elements and gradually build on the skills being taught.

This course is a fantastic public course. I rated if 3 stars because I played Circling Raven and the Coeur d’Alene Resort course the two days prior. It is very hard to compete with that. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were good, but had just been punched with very small tines. This was the first time I played a par 6. That was loads of fun. Driver, 3 wood, 3 wood and still short of the green. If you are looking for an inexpensive course that delivers a punch, this is it.

We were here for a WJGA golf tournament and the staff here was very welcoming! From the proshop to the restaurant, nothing but friendliness and service with a smile! The golf course is great for bombers. No trees, just wide open fairways. It was blowing 20-30+ and very cold, low 40's in the morning. The course condition was very good with lush rough. The grass driving range is also a nice feature. Oh, and the food is great too!

Challenging fair and exciting, best greens around. Today was a little different as its still Winter..... but what a wonderful time we had out in the elements. You'll want to see for yourself, so you should drop by while the we are enjoying this "lull" in the snowfall :-)

Great course. Some of the longest holes in the west. Friendly staff. Family feel. Nice grounds.

The course was outstanding, the weather not so much. We will return next year and try it again.

A fun and challenging links-style course that’s wide open—and wide open to the wind. Expect a true test of your game, especially if you can’t flight it low like vintage Tiger (gotta be able to hit a low stinger to mitigate the wind). The pot bunkers are no joke—if your sand game isn’t sharp, you’re better off taking your medicine and adding a stroke. Greens were in solid shape and the fairways well maintained, though it’d be nice if carts came with sand bottles for divot repair. Bonus points for the unique par 6—it’s a memorable hole and a fun twist.

The course is long and plays slow, if you don’t hit the fairway you are probably losing your ball in the tall bad grass. The staff is nice except for a few people. The price is not worth this place, rather go to Twin Lakes golf course.

The course is in great shape. Please be prepared to loose balls in the rough. The winds can be powerful so be ready to adjust your game. Wonderful and attentive staff and pro. When you need a break from golfing I highly recommend cloud gazing.

Nice course (I'm NOT a golfer). The staff was super friendly, fast and efficient. The carts were in great shape. Drinks were cold. We had a great time at a fund raising tournament.

We walked, the course is in good shape though fairways were a bit fuzzy. Hot day, a little extra water (plus a little rain this morning). Fast greens, good links course!
