In summary

Fairway River Links is frequently praised for its affordability, friendly staff, and well-maintained course, with many enjoying the scenic views near the river. The course's flat layout makes it accessible and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow play and occasional maintenance concerns, such as bare spots on the fairways and slow greens. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience is positive, with many appreciating the relaxed atmosphere and value for money.

Joined up with friends for a scramble. Course was in great condition and well maintained. Greens were sooo slow based on the moisture we’ve had recently, but that was my only complaint. Would pay again if I’m in the area.

The course is very affordable, fun, and the staff has been friendly. The course is not maintained particularly well. The fairways have quite a few large bare spots. But, again it is a very affordable course. It was $25 each for 4 of us and 2 carts. I will keep going back every week.

Decent coarse with nice kept fairways and greens. It could be me, but the greens seem kinda slow, but are nice. The clubhouse was nice and clean and courteous staff.

The course is well maintained and every time I have gone (6 times). The first time I ever golfed was here in September, and the tee boxes never had divots, nor did I see crabgrass. We went to play at another course, but this one, nestled neatly near the river, seemed better to learn on. The people who work there are nice and the other golfers have always been respectful, and are very helpful in my endeavor to be a better golfer. I would recommend anyone play here . Besides, the Eagles souring above, makes my bogie's feel like they don't exist, they have a calming effect on my game. .

Is in great condition with all the rain this spring. Always enjoy this course. Carts are clean and well kept. Nice course for a relaxing day of golf.

Want to play behind a group of 6-8 people? Want to play behind two unsupervised 12 year olds who drive their cart across the green? Want to down a case of beer and play shirtless? Then this is the place for you. Greens were burnt out, people just play all day and go to whatever hole they want and do whatever they want. At $23, you get what you pay for.

Perfect place for family golf fun and a great meal. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The Ohio River and Rayland Marina provide the best scenery too!

Nice short course. Gets crowded. Seemed to be a lot of first time golfers when I was out so play was slow. Bring some beer, a good cigar, and relax.

Course has come a long way since it was a little 9 hole when you had to go through a hole in the fence to get to the current club house to buy beer. Enjoyable course.
