Fairways are fried. What grass there is in a fairway is crab grass. All the greens are different speeds. Had a guy change pin location on us mid hole. People riding 4 wheelers In the fairways. Ground is like playing on concrete. No indications of what hole is what. Back 9 is like playing a maze, if you don’t have an app like 18 birdies, good luck figuring out where you are. Also we were told by a woman that our group of 8 (4vs4) could tee off at 8am on holes 1 and 2. Playing 36 holes were told was $34. We get there and another employee tells us that “we don’t tee off on different holes here, s…

Very nice course for the price. Greens were in great condition, I really enjoyed a few of the more challenging holes. I will be back.

Public golf course. Fast greens. Not sure why it says open at 8, we take tee times at 7 am all week long!

This course is one of the most unprofessional I have ever come across. Came to visit the area and go out with some friends and they were less than welcoming. The staff and management need a class in customer service. When I finally was able to get onto the course, it was totally run down and almost unplayable if you weren't experienced. Since playing, all I have heard are bad things about how they run things and looking at the reviews many people have had similar experiences.

I’ve been golfing here for 47 yrs. I have always enjoyed playing here. The greens are fast and roll true. During dry spells they can get firm and be a little hard to stop a ball on. The fairway grass isn’t the greatest and that’s why I deducted a star. The owners and staff are great. You can always strike up a conversation or ask a question. This isn’t a country club so don’t expect it to be. The course is priced right for its condition. With over a 1000 rounds played there I can assure you that they have never banned anyone who didn’t deserve it. Then those people get their friends to bad rap…

Staff was rude even making racist comments toward my friend. The course was pretty rough the greens were burnt to a crisp and the fairways were just dirt. Overall it was like playing golf on concrete. Would not recommend anyone go here.

It might need a lot of work, and a lot of people have rude things to say but in my experience. It's a pretty decent golf course. Nicest one in Rayland considering their are 3.. I've met some of the greatest people there. We have a lot of regulars that are old and slow but they come consistently and show us the utmost respect!! Stop out and see us!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. 15 dollars for 18 and a cart. Course was in very good shape for it being winter and all the rain we have experienced in the last month. Very few hazards with the exception of the out of bounds which from what I heard from others eats quite a few. Looking forward to playing here again.

Good course and a good price. 18 with a cart is only $20. If you play 18 and decide to play another 9 it's only $5 more. The course has a nice laid back atmosphere and is pretty wide open. The course could use an update and a little tlc in some areas but easily has my favorite greens in the OV.

Maybe if the owner was more worried about watering his fairways and greens instead of gambling on golf while playing and yelling at paying customers for Attempting to follow the cart path watch is basically non existent and impossible to tell what direction it goes they would be be a decent place to golf. dead grass across the whole course might as well bring a dust mask . Trash

Don't play here unless you enjoy getting yelled for silly reasons. The course itself is beautiful, but very confusing to navigate. I got scolded for backtracking and parking too close to a teebox even though I was CLEARLY off of it. Terrible staff, beautiful course, confusing to navigate. Won't be coming back unless someone pays for my round.

Bec Wood is a great little spot to just go have fun and not have a Ranger up your behind, they leave you be which makes for an enjoyable round of golf. The scenery is great also. Best of all the price is just right for the course.
