In summary

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is appreciated for its family-friendly atmosphere, enjoyable pools, and accommodating staff, with some guests highlighting positive experiences at the golf simulators. However, visitors have noted several areas for improvement, including outdated rooms, inconsistent food quality, and challenges with staff availability and friendliness. Additionally, issues with pool temperatures, room conditions, and restaurant pricing have been mentioned as areas that could enhance the overall guest experience.

Have been coming to this resort for years. This place slowly going down the hill. 1. Never have enough staff to operate normally. Came with kids. Water slide not open. "Not enough staff". Pools are dirty for a good clean resort. 2. In executive room the door between two rooms not closing, sagging to one side. Bathroom is very outdated with stains. 🤦. 3. THIS IS THE BIG ONE. Staff at the front desk is not friendly at all. Come and experience yourself. Not the first time experienced this. This time decided to write a review. I bit disappointed this time. Hopefully the management see these revi…

The check in was great, rooms were good but when we decided to take a dip in the indoor pool, it was cold. We did let an attendant know and the pool was warm the next day. We did stroll outdoors and found that pool warm. The changing rooms were disappointing, no lockers and only 2 showers out 4 had shower heads and the timer on the one that worked required me to reset it every 30 seconds. We had charming dinners in Anonada. We chose not to eat at the hotel because of bad reviews.

We stayed here Monday Feb 16th through the 19th. The hot spring pools are nice. The outdoor pool was closed one day because it was too cold. The lobby area is nice. Restaurants are outrageously overpriced. They know most people want to stay at the resort and they take advantage of you. The rooms need a lot of work. The bathrooms don’t have a fan or window so after one shower the bathroom is soaked and it never dries. The shower doesn’t drain. Your bath towels never dry. So on Tuesday we asked for room service to be done on Wednesday so we could get new towels and have the bathroom wiped down.…

Golfed on the simulators and April in the pro shop took fantastic care of us. We were first time users of the simulator and she got us all set up with the program and beverages. Checked in on us several times through out and always with a smile. Very enjoyable atmosphere!

Great service! The staff are very nice, accommodating, and professional. The rooms are decent (a bit dated, and more on-par with a Days Inn or Super 8; especially the bathrooms and HVAC). The food at any of the on-site restaurant options is also on-par with middling hotel-chain restaurants. I could ignore the condition of the premises, if the restaurant offering was an attraction (like Chico Hot Springs' dining room).

We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is a very family friendly experience. They even offer cribs to families with infants. There were some issues at check-in. Their computer system kept saying we could not check into our room because it needed to be cleaned. They made us wait in the lobby with a three year old and newborn for almost 2 hours (after driving 4hr. to get there) until they decided to ask their manager what was going on. The manager noticed it was only that room on the floor that was marked to be cleaned. She found out with one phone call that it just hadn't been updated in the computer…

This is a wonderful place to visit with the family. Water was nice and hot! Can't wait for the new addition. The food not so good. We had the breakfast buffet the cost was 19.99 and was nothing special. Food was cold. And not much selection. I would say I had a better breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn and that was free. They could do better. Or make the buffet free. That is what its worth.

It was an awesome experience. the indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic. They also have a concession stand outside that serves alcohol. First time I have ever seen that. They have a pretty cool water slide that my kid enjoyed. The only thing that sucked was their room thermostats are on a house system, so we had to sleep in a 82 degree room 😰. Did not get much sleep because of that.

The staff was really nice but the pool closing at 10 is kind of annoying I have been coming here since I was a kid and was bummed. The food was not good I had the street tacos and the prime rib on it was dry and unseasoned the chips were stale and the food is way to overpriced for the quality. Overall very very disappointed in the drop in quality over the years

I took my wife, daughter, sister, and mother to Fairmont and was very disappointed in their food service. There is nowhere close to eat, so you are stuck relying on their lounge to suffice. I ordered bison sliders and they were never pulled out of the freezer to defrost. They only offered one type of wine by the glass and didn't tell us what it was only to discover it was $20 a glass afterwards. They don't itemize your receipt, so you have to ask for one. For dinner, the surf and turf was another disappointment. The crab must have been frozen for so long that it came out of the shell very stri…

We come back every Christmas for the waterslide and restaurant. Unfortunately when I called they promised us they would have the water slide going yet on Christmas morning no water slides going. the waters edge restaurant was pretty horrible. Paid almost $80 a for two plates of raviolis. There were only 5 noodles on each and the rest was cold slimy mushrooms, absolutely no sauce. Food was cold, yet plates were hot. Bill was $150 not including the tip yet for two adults and two kids. We unfortunately we're not able to eat two of the entree's because of the cold/slimy quality. Will be choosing a…
