In summary

Eisenhower Golf Club, located at the Air Force Academy, is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained courses, and challenging layouts, particularly the Blue and Silver courses. The staff is generally considered friendly and helpful, and the practice facilities and wildlife sightings enhance the experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, outdated golf carts without GPS, and inconsistent customer service, particularly regarding policies and refunds.

Eisenhower is my sanctuary. Serious. I love my membership here. I've played some pretty damn cool courses, but I think Eisenhower will always be my favorite – both courses, Blue and Silver, I love them both. Never get tired of playing here. And seriously, to date, Blue has been the toughest course I've played in Colorado, definitely in Colorado Springs. I think Pebble Beach might be the most challenging course I've ever played (because of the wind!) anywhere else. Some people might complain about the golf carts or cart paths ... pfft, forget 'em ... I walk. It's one of the most beautiful cours…

We played both courses. A true test of golf. Each course was unique. The greens were fast and smooth. Carts had no GPS. Cart paths on the Silver course were rough. Best to stay on the rough when possible. Nice half way house on the Silver course. Many bathrooms on both courses, not porta johns. Great practice facilities. Nice pro shop with lots of Air Force goodies. Great snack bar and bar for an after round drink. We had a great experience at the Air Force academy.

Awesome conditions and a very challenging course! (Silver) Saw a bear and some turkeys to add to the great day.

Great course for DoD ID card holders, entrance onto USAFA grounds required. Challenging course, even from the white tees (6k yards). Course was in great shape, nice and green. Good putting green and driving range. Lots of wild life on course. Got a birdie and bogey on the same hole.

We were staying two nights at the fam-camp and decided to go golfing. We did the blue course as the silver course was under weekly maintenance. The pro-shop to check in is actually downstairs. The staff was friendly and the guys did a great job explaining to my youngest about his rental clubs. The greens are well kept and over all the 18 holes was fun to play. The cart girl caught us when we tee'd off and around the 12th hole, for drinks and snacks. Plan accordingly if you have an afternoon tee time with the cart girl as the club house closes the food and drinks around 5. I would come back to…

It was a pleasure and an honor to participate in the Folds of Honor charity golf tournament. We thank The Air Force academy and Eisenhower Golf course for hosting this event. A huge special thank you to Diane for her relentless hard work and dedication to that cause and our community, we love you! P. S. This is the best course I have ever played on.

This course was in decent shape for a military base. We played the silver and it was pretty challenging. The clubhouse was nice but it took far too long to get one hot dog. I also did not like discovering what looked like a bathroom building was actually an outhouse on the course. The turnaround at 9 was just a toilet building (thankfully not another outhouse) but no clubhouse or place to get food or beverages. The temp was about 85° on the afternoon we played and we saw the cart girl only once in 18 holes. So no drinks delivered by anyone or available during 18 holes. I can say I played it bu…

Wow. Beautiful views, fairways in perfect shape, rough is fair, greens are diabolically slopped and fast. The greens are a fun challenge that is like a punch in the nose!

Had the opportunity to play here last weekend and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. The carts were old and had no GPS, the cart paths were tore up and the tee boxes were in need of a trim. The greens were in OK shape but they had recently been punched so it was like putting on a Plinko board. It would have been nice to have the clubhouse staff let us know that. The course was just OK, which I was expecting more being that it was the USAF Academy after all. Nice experience to say I got to play the course but disappointed in the conditions.

Don't come for the glizzies and club house atmosphere... Nothing fancy here. It is a military base after all. But the golf is fantastic! Greens are challenging and, of course, great views!

Course is beautiful and decently kept. My low review has to do with the staff in pro shop as well as pace of play. I am a veteran with a disability rating, but was charged full price for my tee time. When trying to show my disability rating they refused, BUT had no problem accepting that information from another player in my group who checked in a bit later. I hope it wasn't prejudice but I did feel I was singled out for one reason or another. As for pace of play. It took us near 5 hours for 18 holes. Even with the ranger driving through, and "enforcing" time. We were stuck behind 2 groups thr…

Doesn’t get better than turkeys on the driving range, a pitch over a deer and a black bear and her cubs on hole 5. Just a beautiful, Air Force Day. Go Blue. Then Silver.
