In summary

Eagle Pointe Golf & Tennis Resort is appreciated for its scenic layout, challenging holes, and friendly staff, along with a welcoming atmosphere at the clubhouse and restaurant. Many visitors enjoy the well-maintained fairways and greens, although some express concerns about the condition of the bunkers and greens, as well as inconsistent maintenance. While the venue is praised for its community feel and recent improvements, a few guests mention issues with pricing, customer service, and course management.

I found this place to be very enjoyable. So much so, I played it twice. Everything is very well maintained with the exception of the bunkers. It seems the new management is working towards improving the bunkers. Staff was very pleasant and gladly fitted me in for a second round. If you haven’t played this course lately, it might be time to check it out. Hole 10 (pictured) is a beautiful and challenging start to the back nine.

The golf course is in the best shape I've seen it in 15 years and they're still working on improvements. They need to rehab all the sand bunkers but that is a big dollar job. Greens, tees and fairways were great. Our group of 13 had nothing but compliments.

Good food, better atmosphere.......great live music. Staff is warm and friendly. Local hang out spot. Corn hole, outdoor bar and seating. One of only two choices in the Lake Monroe area on our side at least unless you want to head into Bedford or Bloomington.

This course is way too overly priced for how it looks and is maintained. There’s more dirt than there is grass. I also like how I have to pay for a bucket of range balls when I’m already paying $65 for a course that should realistically be priced at $10-$15.

This place is like a real life walking dead episode, course has a cool design though. Weeds ran rampant so much that you couldn't find your ball if you weren't on the fairway. Weeds were on the fairway as well. Only place that wasn't overran by weeds was the greens. An employee told me the place hasn't been touched with a chemical in a least 2 weeks and said the owner doesn't have the money to give the super to do his job. Waste of 42.00 and a waste of time. Bunkers which there's allot of, were concrete and had weeds in them. Completely ridiculous, sell the course to someone who will take care…

On July 27, 2025, my group of four played at The Golf Club at Eagle Point, a course we typically visit a couple of times a year, driving just over an hour from the north and east sides of Columbus. While we always look forward to the course’s scenic layout and challenging holes, this visit left us frustrated and questioning whether we’ll return. The pro shop staff and employees were, as usual, polite and courteous, setting a welcoming tone. However, the course conditions were a significant letdown. Before teeing off on the first hole, regulars in the group ahead warned us about the deplorable s…

It's a very nice golf course. Lots of fun to play, with interesting approach shots required. As of July 2017 the greens are in bad shape but it seems like they are working to fix them. Will come back!

Just book pfau a week in advance. Terrible green fees for a course that’s in terrible condition. No pace of play enforcement. Full of retirees who can’t walk. Just badly run. Stay away

Played the in the 25th Aug. It’s a scenic corse but the greens are in very bad shape. The is no second cut on the fairways. You are in the rough period. If hadn’t been for the military discount we wouldn’t have played and it’s really not worth that. Yes it’s been a wet year and I tried to take that into consideration but it’s bad. Sorry

Great place, the fairways and greens are in great shape. The course is pretty tight! House's on one side trees or a busy road is on the other side. Hit'em straight!! Seriously, the straighter the better on this course. I don't try to hit far here. The restaurant is very good! Great atmosphere and awesome staff.

Have previously enjoyed playing here, the low rating is for staff. Went into pro shop with every intention of buying a membership as a gift for Christmas. Stood at the counter and made eye contact with a woman in the pro shop office, waited as they finished their conversation. When she then went onto the next topic without acknowledging me or letting the others know I was there, I walked out. It's incredibly hard to sell any product when you don't even acknowledge a customers existence.
