In summary

Divide Ranch & Club is praised for its stunning mountain views and friendly staff, offering a challenging and enjoyable layout for golfers. However, opinions on course conditions vary significantly, with some visitors noting well-maintained greens and fairways, while others report issues with dry, poorly maintained areas and high fees for the current state. Despite these mixed reviews, the course's picturesque setting and wildlife sightings are frequently highlighted as standout features.

My husband and I played here yesterday and we really enjoyed the course. Beautiful views and the course was in great shape considering the summer we’ve had. The layout is fun and challenging and although there’s quite a few houses along the way, it doesn’t feel like you’re right in someone’s back yard. Tons of wildlife to see too. There was also no one playing in front or behind us, so it was a very relaxing game. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic round today. We were nervous about the reviews we were reading but the course conditions were very good, 8/10. The layout was a 9/10. I found the course to have a fun challenging layout while being very playable for a mid handicap golfer. The staff was very friendly and we had a lot of space between groups so we never felt pressured and enjoyed our round. The highlight of the round was the amazing mountain views however that shouldn’t take away from how fun of a course it was. Hope to come back and play again.

Played 18 holes two days ago. Greens are in best shape I’ve seen in awhile. A few fairways a little rough from getting through the winter. Great staff and great views!

This course is in the WORST shape I have ever seen a golf course. Holes 1-3 greens were just covered in sand and they were sanding hole 4 so we had to skip it. They will not bounce back soon. The rest of the grass was not good. Not worth 110 dollars for 18 holes. The mountains are so pretty it is such a shame the course is in such bad shape. I hope they can get a greens keeper that can turn this course around. Play anywhere else.

This is a beautiful course, one of my favorites when we’re not in a drought. In years like this when it’s so dry the course suffers. Not the fault of the staff obviously but they need better water rights.

The course condition is extremely poor. The greens are brown, except where they’ve been painted. The tee boxes aren’t in great shape, some of them have been closed. Fairways dry. The rough is impressively rough, I’ll give them that. Too bad, it’s a beautiful and interesting layout. A local member told me it’s been like this for years ever since ownership changed hands. On the plus side it’s basically completely empty and you have the course largely to yourself. The staff is friendly and pleasant, if a bit apologetic. I think players would be happier spending their time and money elsewhere.

First off, do not pay full price for this course, you will be disappointed if you do. That being said if you pay $60 or less for 18 it’s ok. The fairways are cut long, the rough plays like out of bounds and beyond that is impossible to find your ball. The views on this course are amazing and overall it relies way too heavily on that.

Divide Ranch Golf is fun but the view is awesome..

Dried out fairways were hard as a rock that produced wacky bounces into weeds and worse conditions. The greens were the worst I have ever played on. Patches of grass surrounded by mostly dirt that was painted green. It's too bad because the layout was interesting and challenging. Practice area was nothing to write home about either. Very disappointing. I do recall hearing someone commenting that the course had some recent water issues. Do not know if this is the case. This would explain the horrible conditions but to charge actual money for this place right now is a joke and an insult. Close…

Got a hot deal today. 18 holes and a cart for $59. Some green were a bit rough and one tee box but fun course with amazing views. Lunch was good. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful view of the San Juan's, but the course is in miserable shape. The first 4 holes are sanded greens and you could but castles on them. The fairways are painted green grass and play like you're hitting out of dirt. I would not recommend as of July 23' until they figure out how to water their grass!

Must play if you are in the area. Great views of the mountains and course is in great shape. You can tell they really care about their course.
