In summary

Deer Creek Village Golf Course is highly praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained conditions, and the distinct contrast between the front and back nine, offering both a gentle start and a more challenging finish with stunning views. The staff is frequently noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a positive overall experience. While the course receives high marks, some reviews mention that the greens could use improvement and that service in the restaurant can be inconsistent during busy times.

The front 9 were good for us amateurs. We played a golf scramble game. I love the creek running through the course, but not so much when I lost balls in it. Well maintained and beautiful. The staff was super friendly and it was very affordable.

Fantastic golf course!!! The golf course was in great condition. What beautiful views, creeks and wildlife abound. Can’t wait to make it back again. We loved the course so much we decided to play it twice In the same day !!!! Special thank you to employee Walt who took the time to talk to us about the course and waited around for us to finish. We were the last ones to leave. All the employees (clubhouse and restaurant) were amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you for an epic day of golf. My golf buddies and I traveled from Colorado Springs area and spent 3 days in montrose playi…

Very nice and impressive course. Course fees are not very expensive but you do have to pay for ride along person in which it's still a great price for a round. Fairways and greens were Excellent. Kudos to the grounds keeping team. The back 9 is challenging teeing off at very high peaks and playing up hill. This course reminds me of playing in Arizona but without the cactus 🌵. Shot a 79 without ever playing the course 👌

Sometimes, it's amazing. (The service), and sometimes it sucks. ex: This time, we got there before a huge crowd, and the service was great until a tournament group of men showed up. Then, our table took a poor service back seat. The pizza is always fresh, delicious, and baked to perfection, crunchy but not burned, and never had undercooked crust. I love thin crust. So, if you aren't a fan of thin crust, this is not the place for you. Very accommodating to allergy dietary needs. Just tell them. Don't be shy.

I really enjoyed the course. The tee boxes had poor grass and needed improvement, but it is fairly early in the year so I didn't remove any stars for that. The front 9 was a gentle, enjoyable course. The back 9 was completely different with large elevation changes and more difficult holes. The variety made this an enjoyable course and I will be back again!

We had lunch here on the patio. The pizza was fantastic! Friendly service. I just wished they had better selection of NA beer. They only had Busch.

First time playing this course and we loved it. Clubhouse staff were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenge. Front 9 and back 9 are two totally different styles of golf course.

Pizza and pasta joint. They do not even have a hamburger, steak or chicken without pasta! Good local wine as the house variety. Nice place with a view of the golf course. Off my list for now until their menu evolves.
