In summary

Davie Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, providing a great value for golfers seeking an enjoyable round. The course's natural setting with wildlife adds to the overall experience. However, some visitors mention the absence of a driving range and occasional slow pace of play as areas for improvement.

Had a great round at Davie Golf Course. The greens were phenomenal—some of the best in the area. They’re not only well-maintained, but also challenging, with heavy and unique undulation that makes putting both fun and demanding. A few fairways and tee boxes were in rough shape, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent throughout. Pace of play was a little slow at times, but manageable. Overall, it’s a great course with standout greens and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Overall, Davie Golf Club is a solid place to get a round in. The course itself is in good shape—fairways were nicely maintained, greens rolled really well, and the staff was super friendly. You can tell they care about the course, and that goes a long way. That said, just be aware that the layout is narrow. Like, bring-a-few-extra-balls kind of narrow. If you’re still working on keeping it straight off the tee (like I am), it can definitely get a little frustrating. Wider fairways would’ve made it a more forgiving experience, but that’s just personal preference. One thing that stood out—ther…

What a great experience! Course conditions were superb. Best course in the area. I play in Tampa at a semi private course, Davie Golf Club conditions were very similar and well kept. Greens ran true and undulations were fantastic. If you want a challenging yet fun course, this is it! I'll definitely come back and play when I am back in S. Florida.

This is more a 3.5 than 4. Staff was friendly and great, they let me get out early which is awesome. Tee boxes are mostly torn up, the greens on the front were not in the best of shape but got better as the round went on. The back was seemingly more well kept. No driving range, which is a bummer. No one was manning the snack bar but honestly didn’t look they had much to serve. If you want a mid tier local mini track, this is your place

Great value!! No frills. Like, literally zero frills. We would go back. I’m a 13 handicap and my sister is a beginner, high handicapper so we wanted a decent place to play on a Tuesday morning where we could have fun and not be rushed or pressured by resort golf atmosphere. This place was perfect for that. Staff were super-friendly and laid back. There was a beverage cart, which sells used golf balls too. Push carts are available. At no point in time did I feel the quality of the course impacted my play. I wouldn’t mind if they trimmed a few trees though. Greens played fair; fairways were ad…

Golf course is in good shape and looks to be getting better each week. Greens, and fairways look well taken care off and the tee boxes look like there next. I think it plays tougher than it's rating due to the undulating greens. I Play it every week and will continue to do so.

Fun yet challenging course for such a low fee. In great shape with beautiful trees, iguanas, turtles and birds. Lots of water and not an easy course but a tremendous find.

I always play at Davie every Thursday morning Well my buddy and I decided to go for a practice round this pass Friday at 3pm. It was absolutely terrible. Over crowed, 5 and even 6 people teeing off at the same tee. I told the ranger who absolutely did nothing to help. We drove off the course after 6 holes a total waste of $37.00 I'm a card member

Course is in good condition. Fun little course to play. Not very long but still a decent challenge. Arthur the starter was awesome. Wish every starter was so accommodating and cheerful. Wil definitely go back

04/10/2025: The greens are new and they're awesome, although I would like to have the greens faster. I would give the greens a 5- star without hesitation. There are some issues at some fairways, but the negatives do not affect playing. Sometimes Ago: The greens are just TERRIBLE and impossible to putt properly. Some fairways are also lousy. If you don't mind about putting or automatically give yourself 2 putts when get on the green , it's a good course to practice your game. There are plenty of water hazards on the course to stress you out. You can look at the pictures to determine if it's wo…

Love this hidden course. Has the feels of a private course with wild life and landscaping yet perfect for a quick round without pressure. Plays short and open with some water.
