What People Say

In summary

Plantation Preserve Golf Club is often praised for its scenic and challenging course layout, as well as its well-maintained greens and overall facilities. The venue is also highlighted for hosting successful events, with commendations for the friendly and attentive staff. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play, course conditions in certain areas, and occasional unhelpful staff interactions, suggesting room for improvement in these aspects.

A good friendly welcome from the offset, with bag guys and starters, the course is in decent condition, greens were great large open spaces running quite quickly, and true, fairways are reasonable, some large rougher patches and lots of poor scrub areas all over the course let's this place down, and makes the whole course look uncared for, Bunkers need raking as most are heavily compacted, it's a shame as this could be a top course at $75 per round in off-peak season it's not really worth it, while there are so many other options available nearby,

Plantation Preserve Golf Course is an amazing wedding venue! We were overjoyed to have our wedding turn out as amazing as it did and working with the event manager, Melissa and the entire staff that worked our wedding Chef Chris, Dylan our bartender, and Tiana was an absolute pleasure! Everyone we met each time was amazing and we are forever grateful to them for delivering the wedding reception of our dreams! This venue has gorgeous views of the golf course and a beautiful reception room with a very well arranged bar, delicious food, lots of parking, and a well stocked bar. We loved everything…

My farther and I were visiting from overseas and were looking to play a round of golf together. We arrived in the afternoon and were not made to feel welcome at all, which was a real shame. We needed one set of clubs to rent which felt like asking for the world. In fact I would go as far to say the two men at the desk were utterly unhelpful. I wish we had walked out at this point, hindsight is a wonderful thing. The cart chaps were much nicer to be fair and helpful. We were told that we couldn’t use the cart on the fairways of holes 1 & 9 which is absolutely fine by us. What wasn’t fine was t…

Came in with high expectations, unfortunately didn’t not come out to be that way. 99 bucks a person for a course that was not in the shape it should have been for that price. Had a 1:27 tee time. Starter rushed us out early at 1:20. 4 and a half hours later and couldn’t even finish because there was 4 groups of 4 all together on 18. And they were talking about how they’re playing their own Ryder cup. Unfortunate experience for the price and clearly the starter and the rest of the workers don’t monitor what’s going on. Won’t be back anytime soon

Should have taken the reviews seriously… 6 hour pace. No marshals in sight. Took us 1 hour to play 3 holes as each hole had 3 groups on it and the tees were stacked. Fairways in terrible shape. Many other areas quite spotty or GIR-equivalent. Green OK, tee boxes good. Not worth the price at all. Jacaranda and Osprey Point were miles better in all respects. Back 9 layout was more interesting and some nice holes.

The marshal was the rudest and most unprofessional marshal I’ve ever encountered in 15+ years of recent memory. As a former honor caddy growing up in SE Michigan in the mid 80’s and an Evan Scholar recipient - Western Golf Association, University of Michigan, I know the rules of golf and respect the pace of play. He came up to me on hole 10 when I was a lone rider looking for a ball that was close to the course boundary. I looked for less than 2 minutes and found my ball. He said something to me then. I acknowledged him politely. The next hole he and came up to me two more times - once when I…

Plantation Preserve Golf Course is a well-designed and challenging track that offers a great test for all skill levels. With multiple sets of tees, it can play long for those looking for a tougher round. The course layout is scenic and natural, making for an enjoyable experience. Pace of play was excellent, staff was friendly, and the greens were in pristine condition—well-shaped, smooth, and perfectly maintained. Teeboxes were also in great shape, though the fairways and rough were a bit patchy in some areas. The carts, while equipped with GPS screens, felt a bit outdated and worn. Overall, i…

Right now the greens are rolling really true and fast! Played end of December 2025. Tee boxes could be flatter in spots. Fringes could be a bit better with more grass (there are a few dead spots). But the layout is great, I've played here probably 30 times or more over the years. Range is on mats everyday right now until the grass matures. Good value for South Florida! Condition is great, way better than most courses down here. Might be different in summer, but as of now this is a great place to tee it up.

Our company partnered up with some companies, charities and other organizations to host the annual golf tournament here. This was my first time at the plantation preserve, I was quite impressed with everything. The staff made sure we had golf carts and everything in order for our event. Steven (one of the managers) along with other members was very helpful and polite. I didn’t get to stay for food but the luncheon from what I hear was great and the set up looked fantastic. They did a great job, I hope we decide to do more events here!

Plantation Preserve is easily one of the nicest public courses I’ve played in the area. The entire place is really well maintained—everything from the tee boxes to the greens was in great shape, and it’s clear the grounds crew puts in the work. The layout itself is both scenic and challenging, which is the sweet spot for me. It doesn’t feel unfair, but it definitely makes you think—club selection and course management go a long way here. A few holes really forced me to focus on placement off the tee, and there’s a good variety throughout the round to keep it interesting. Practice-wise, they’…

The greens are very nice and the staff is very respectful and courteous. That’s the only thing this course has right. Tee boxes are absolutely chopped. Fairways retain water. Bunkers are hard as concrete. For $110 this course is an absolute fluke and waste of money. The only reason I’m giving two stars and not one star is because the greens are absolutely dialed in.
