In summary

Cypress Knoll Course is praised for its well-maintained conditions, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with many golfers appreciating the friendly and accommodating staff. The course is noted for its narrow fairways and thoughtfully designed layout that offers a fair but challenging experience. However, some visitors mention issues with certain staff members and maintenance of rough areas, as well as occasional slow pace of play.

Our first experience at this course was last year in 2024 and we had an amazing time! The course conditions were amazing, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the greens were perfect so we decided to return again this year and to our surprise, everything was even better! The greens were meticulously maintained, the fairway was like carpet and the entire staff was so incredibly helpful! We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following day to play another 18 holes and we will certainly be back next year during our annual trip! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Well-maintained and friendly! The course at Cypress Knoll is in great shape, with smooth greens and a layout that’s truly amazing—both scenic and thoughtfully designed. Loved how the course winds through the woods, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. It offers a fair but challenging round. The staff was welcoming, though the pace of play slowed noticeably on the back nine. Still, a solid local option for a relaxed round of golf.

Pros: Course is very challenging. Greens are fast, small, in good shape. Extremely narrow fairways surrounded by OB/hazard on pretty much every hole. The par 4s here are brutal but fun. Approach shots to greens are some of the toughest I’ve played. Cons: Clubhouse staff Poor upkeep of rough areas and chipping areas around greens. Most chips green side are off dirt/sand in very tight lies on an already challenging course. If these areas had grass this course would be amazing. The old guy in the clubhouse is on a power trip and ready to ruin your round before you start if he can. Avoid him and…

Visited here for the first time the other day. Is a nice country club, have a place to eat and hang out. The shop was nice, not very big so not a whole lot of shopping options but have anything you could need for a golf outing. I bought a nice glove for a decent price. I only used the driving range so cannot speak to the actual course although I plan on going back soon to play a round of 18 holes. The price for balls for the driving range was decently priced. The range itself is nice, nothing spectacular about it. The reason for the 4 stars is because the actual range where you tee off was ver…

Just over a year ago, Doug Brown and his wife, Janice Reid purchased Cypress Knoll Golf Club in Palm Coast, Florida. Brown is a former college golfer whose family has owned property in the Cypress Knoll community for over 40 years. Since purchasing the course, he has been doing his best to make the course more attractive to all caliber of golfers. It’s one of the tightest courses in the area and Brown and his crew have been hard at work widening many of the fairways, improving tee boxes and just making the course a more enjoyable playing experience. So far, his hard work has not gone unnotice…

Cypress Knoll, or as we like to call it, "The Gem of Palm Coast" is located equidistant between Jacksonville and Orlando and has become one of our clubs favorite courses. Here are some quotes from the TGC's most respected members: D - "A great blend of both challenging and playful golf that is sure to delight any member of your group" E - "I love the freedom to cast a few lines into the lake on 9 after I've holed out, while the rest of my group fumbles their way down the fairway" C - "Never change"

Challenging course, very well kept! The starter and cart guy were the most pleasant. We’ll be back!

Hadn't played here in about a year. Great turnaround of the course. Tee time green great shape. Greens could be a bit faster and the bunkers need work. Definitely will be playing here more frequently again.

The golfing was good. It was rainy, but any day on the golf course is great in December when you are from Boston! I gave it 3 stars because the woman at the clubhouse wasn’t very kind at all, even bordering rude. We didn’t let it get us down, but it definitely wasn’t a great start to our day.

I played a round of golf today and the golf course is in horrible shape. The whole course is wet and muddy, with most holes being 90 degrees only. The sand traps were full of water. It was not worth paying for. For the price they charge per person, I wish I had played somewhere else.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over 8 years now, and I played Cypress Knolls last evening. The condition of this course has never been better. Well defined rough and fairways were great. Greens rolled nice. Never seen it better!!! Good job to whomever.

We played here in the middle of November. Good layout and interest routing. Decent conditions. Small greens. Fairly tight course.
