In summary

Coyote Creek Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly, accommodating staff. Golfers appreciate the course's mix of hole difficulties and its affordability, considering the quality. However, some players have noted occasional issues with pace of play and find the pricing slightly high for the experience offered. Despite these concerns, many consider it a hidden gem worth visiting, particularly for its welcoming atmosphere and solid amenities.

Played this course yesterday and was pleasantly surprised since I had never heard of it before. Great value for around $75 to ride 18. Course design was great. You won't find a ton of variety in elevation here but I really liked the variety of holes. Some short par 4's that make you think twice about hitting driver and some fun par 5's that are definitely reachable in 2 if you hit a good tee shot. There's not a ton of water (except for the beautiful par 3's) and not a ton of tree trouble. So it felt very forgiving off the tee. Some of the fairways were in better shape than others but for this…

My wife and I played Coyote Creek for the first time yesterday and we had a wonderful time. Affordably priced, nice grass range, and the course was in great condition. The greens were a little slower than I’m used to but they held good shots and rolled true. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of water on the course and I didn’t expect, but really enjoyed, the longer, difficult par 4s on the front. I also liked the longer, challenging par 3s and overall, the nice mix of tougher and easier holes. Even though Coyote Creek is about 40 minutes from where I live, I’ll definitely play it agai…

I’ve played this course maybe 10 times over the years. I thought the course today was in decent shape, greens were consistently very good, fairways good, roughs were not so good…. plenty of dirt patches and inconsistencies. The price was $75, they must have raised them. Honestly, although it was a Saturday, not sure the course demands that price. You can pay that for far nicer courses.

The course play is fantastic! 5 stars. Maintained well. Fast greens these days. However lots of construction noise and dust and tee box annoyances. 2.75 stars. If it’s a hot day no shade trees. But a challenge course for sure.

With all due respect to the gentleman who gave this course a negative review based on having played it in June of 2022, I will say I strongly disagree with his assessment and critique. I have played various courses in the North Metro area that compare to Coyote Creek in price point and style including both Riverdale courses, Buffalo Run, Thorncreek, Legacy Ridge, Hyland Hills and others. I played Coyote Creek with my dad on the 4th of July and in my opinion, it definitely measured up! The course was in fine shape. As seen in some of the pictures I have posted here, there are some weeds and d…

The course was in great shape and the price was fair. I like this course and overall had a great time. The only complaint I had was we were told we needed to speed up because of a gap. Although I really appreciate marshalls keeping pace of play timely, and he was very nice I was a little annoyed due to the fact we finished 9 holes in 1 hour and 55 minutes as a foursome. We didn't have a stack up behind us and we were not holding anyone up behind us. Have your marshall check your starting time and if you are over 2 hours then push people otherwise don't tell foursomes playing under 4 hour round…

Colorado Golfing Coyote Creek Golf Course is absolutely amazing! The course is always well-maintained, making it both fun and challenging to play. Course is always in great shape, but the pace of play today was atrocious. I made the turn in 2 hours and 35 minutes, asked for a raincheck and left. Listen, if the golf course really does take the feedback seriously, I'd seriously consider doing two things to help with pace of play, and one of them is free. 1) Remind all groups playing during a prime tee time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday what the expected pace of play is for the course. Remind them how pace of play is defined, and remind them to let groups play through if they do fall behind. 2) Mow the native areas down. I didn't think o…

It was another awesome day @ Coyote creek golf course. I think coyote creek is growing their business with great customer service. And the course is continuing to improve. I'm moving to Weld County to be closer to my grandchildren and C Crk. Dennis Bang

Great place to enjoy a round. Course is well maintained and employees are always making you feel welcome. See some cool animal friends at the same time.

I really enjoyed my round at this course. The course conditions were great, the fairways were lush and the greens rolled just fine. This was my first 18 holes at this course. The staff at the clubhouse were very nice and accommodating. I really didn't have any issues with the course or the staff. The only thing I would say is $70 for 18 holes seemed a bit steep for what this course is. Overall, I enjoyed my round and could see myself playing here again. But I'll likely play closer to home as this was nearly an hour away from my usual stomping grounds.

My buddy and I have played here multiple times now and it is a great course in excellent condition. greens are well kept and groomed. some of the pin placements this week were pretty challenging but made for a good round. The staff inside the Pro Shop was very accommodating even when they were getting ready to close the register and let us play another nine. Highly recommend this course to anyone that has not played it yet especially when you can find it on golf now for a hot deal.
