In summary

Buffalo Run Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic layout and affordability, offering a mix of challenging and approachable holes with a unique high elevation farm aesthetic. Visitors frequently commend the friendly staff and value for money, especially for those utilizing discounts. However, many reviews point out issues with course maintenance, including rough fairways, sandy greens, and ongoing irrigation work, which some feel detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, slow pace of play and communication issues regarding delays have been noted as areas needing improvement.

Great experience as an out of towner. Quality clubs to rent. Got paired with a fun trio of locals. The front 9 had a lot to offer and will make me want to come back. Very kind and hospitable staff. Ryan at the clubhouse was awesome.

Fantastic experience with a high elevation farm aesthetic. The rolls are true and the setting special. I also love. The rest breaks had grain houses with semester and green and red storage containers that were the rest rooms. Drinks in the giant grain house finalized the deal. Full of Fred Funk!-)

For the price, the course is not bad at all. Yes it’s a little rough in spots while they finalize some irrigation work. Overall the greens were in really good shape. But for $60 with a cart, you can’t complain. Some really fun holes

The course is not in the greatest shape. But with a $50 weekday 18 hole rate that includes green fees, cart and range balls, you can’t beat the deal. The front 9 is the worst especially #s 1 & 8, with significant bald spots & cart path only. The driving range is closed but you can hit into nets. Greens today were freshly aerated & sanded so putts not rolling great. My estimate is course needs 2-3 years of repairs & healing to return to the great shape it used to be in.

Golfnow tee time. INCLUDED, yes included, practice area is nice way to warm your for your round. The course has some rough spots, mostly par 3 tees and some quality areas. Good value for the money. Would play again.

Played the back nine today with my son. He has a Youth on Course membership discount - so for the two of us to walk with one pull cart came to $37. How can you beat that? Layout is great, greens are very good, fairways are fair but improving. We'll be back

Don't play here. Not worth it. While the club house is nice, it ends there. The fairways have MANY dirt spots with hard pan dirt. No grass. Many areas clearly should be marked "ground under repair", but I suppose that would make it completely unplayable. The greens were very sandy with many irregular spots. I mentioned these issues to the pro shop attendant after our round and he seemed very uninterested. There are too many good courses in the Denver Metro area to consider playing here.

Completely understand they are going through a massive irrigation project yet that doesn’t explain the lack of Marshall’s on a Saturday at noon. 5. 1/2 hours and we only played 17. Saw the Marshall for the first time in hole 13 and he stated there was a group 3 holes behind. The layout of the course was good. A little bit of everything long/short holes etc. bunkers were ok. Hoping next year after the course has healed from the repair it will be in better shape.

Played Oct. 19 and won't go back. They sent a frost delay notice, so called the pro-shop at 9:00 and they said they were 30 minutes behind and would be caught up by 11:20. Showed up at 10:30 and got told they were 45 minutes behind. Got on the course at 11:50 behind 3 sets of slow pace walkers. On the 13th fairway a course employee came by and when we asked why play was so slow he told us that they had a 90 minute frost delay that morning, not 30 minutes like they said on the phone. Asked about skipping a hole to pass the walkers and got told everyone was "on pace". We walked off 18 at 5:00 pm…

Fantastic MUNI course! Buffalo run has a great layout with a good mix of approachable and challenging holes. You do weave in between a housing community so a straight tee shot is required. Some of the best prices in the area $40-$60 to ride 18 holes! The range and practice facility is also is great shape and worth stopping by to work on your game. Follow me for golf reviews!

Course was in terrible condition. Patches of dirt and ground under repair everywhere. Driving range is currently just nets. Crazy they are charging full rates under those conditions, they should be paying people to golf there! Or at least give discounted rates. Bar and grill was ok at best.

Thought the first time we went was a fluke. It was not. Both times, fairways were in terrible condition. Front nine is terrible, back nine conditions were a little better. Today, they told us that the greens were just aerated, which is fine… until we got to the greens. We might as well have been putting on a beach. I’ve never seen this. Sprinklers came on on the tee boxes and greens towards the end of our round. No marshall around for pace of play. Multiple areas of the fairways, some holes more than 3/4, were roped off. They did happen to cut the price in half for us because of aeration, but…
