In summary

Coventry Pines Public Golf Course is appreciated for its fun and challenging layout, reasonable pricing, and improvements in course conditions, including better-maintained greens and fairways. The course is popular for beginners and offers a laid-back atmosphere, though some visitors have noted issues with overcrowding, slow pace of play, and limited availability of carts. While the first-come, first-served policy is generally accepted, it has led to some frustrations, particularly during busy times or tournaments.

The guys a nice dude course is okay, but they just pack as many people as they can without and thought of how it’s going to effect rate of play. Just went today $40 for a cart and 9 and hole 3 and 4 had a total of 16 people and then another group of 4 in front of them I had to leave early. I was waiting at hole 3 to tee off for 27 minutes and I still didn’t get to hit because the group in front of me was just taking the ye time. Can’t get my money back either which is wild or a rain check anything. They’re really just trying to make the most money they can and not really give a shit if it take…

This review is based on the fun, playability and value. It's not a high end course nor does it pretend to be. In the last 4-5 years they've really made progress towards improving the conditions and the layout. The course itself is a 9 holes course with an entertaining layout with reasonable pricing. Great course to hit up frequently and always a good time.

I really like playing here. Somehow Coventry Pines short track gives me just as much challenge as any championship layout I've ever been on. I'm a strong ball-striker and this plays finds a way to neutralize a power advantage with its narrow tree-lined fairways and quirky design. Fun mental challenges like the first two holes lining the road left turn otherwise easy holes into tests. DIME-sized greens that are hard in the summer and soft after some rain, so you better be precise. Tee shots on #5 and #6 can tie you in knots. Plenty of scoring opportunities if you know how to find them. Any neg…

This golf course is a blast every time I go. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced player, this course offers a fun and amazing experience every time. Good people run it and good people play it. 11/10

It's a great beginner course. The sand traps have gotten a lot better than years past. You can tell that they put the time into them. Also, they have done a great job keeping the fairways and greens green during this historic drought. They are kid friendly as well. My 7 year old loved playing here.

Be prepared, it's not easy! Terrain is not groomed like most courses. Some very challenging holes. Thankfully, they have golf carts. Bring cleaning cloths to wipe down the cart. They were pretty tasty on the day we played.

Called the night before to find out they dont take tee times. It is a first come first serve basis, which is fine. The guy I spoke to on the phone informed me that they had 2 tournaments going on. He proceeded to ask me what time I was looking to go out and I said as early as possible. He then told me if I show up for 630am I will be able to get out there before the tournament. Showed up at 630 to have a guy tell me I am basically SOL and they have 2 tournaments going on. So basically this is why first come first serve doesn't work. So when people call to make tee times you can say "sorry we h…

I have playing golf my entire life and I am a 10 handicap right now. I have been taking my wife and kids to play at Coventry pines for the past 3 years. At this course there is not enough carts to go around for all players, the owners try and rush you through your round so they can get the next group a cart regardless of how quick or slow you play. Ownership is to cheap to re invest in the course and buy more carts. Also the driving range has been closed for 2 years with no signs of when it will re open. Ownership is rude and arrogant. They have finally pushed me over the edge where I can no…

Golfed here a dozen times this year. Owners are super nice and Greens are really nice also. but been here multiple times and seen groups of 6+ Taking forever. Very inconsistent on their cart times and don’t allow tee time. They’ll let pretty much anyone out on the course, Beginner course for sure.

No issues, clear fairways (few leaves): greens look nice but roll like cement! 4/5 is excellent for November in New England! It's a free-for-all on number one but surprisingly pace of play was good. Basically, little to no signage, so if new it's a follow the leader situation but still -- no real issues at all. Satisfied.

We came here for the twilight special. I walked 9 for $11. I'm not sure where you're gonna beat that. The greens and tee boxes were mostly nice, a couple in kinda bad shape here and there, but mostly nice. I might not have noticed all the hills on this course if I had a cart. Quite a few blind tee shots. Also, that's one of my shots. Nobody saw it go anywhere. I had to look UNDERGROUND. So basically, I'm not a really good golfer🤷‍♂️😂

Gotta love Pines. Laid back course, fairly inexpensive. They should rework the 6th hole. If you hit a perfect drive, getting a good lie for your second shot is kind of a coin toss. I don’t think an eagle would even be possible.
