Coeur D'Alene Public Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic tree-lined fairways, and overall course condition, making it a popular choice among golfers. The staff generally receives positive feedback for their friendliness and professionalism, and the course offers good value for the price, with amenities such as a driving range and a clubhouse with a restaurant. Very nice municipal course. 4 hour pace and in good shape. Greens were a little slow and grainy and some of the tee boxes were a bit torn up but definitely plan to return.

Absolute gem of a muni. Not super long (6276 yards from the back tees, at ~2200' elevation), but rather tight with small greens and lots of tree-lined fairways. Be sure to bring your straight ball. Tees and fairways in good shape, and the greens were nearly immaculate--an impressive feat for a muni. Course was lush and well-watered, and interesting. Also, a great walking course. Didn't have a chance to go to the restaurant afterwards, but it looks like a nice deck to enjoy. Great value as well--$52 to walk during the week in the summer.

I just moved to the area, and was really nervous about the golf culture here and was hoping for a great experience. I loved the courses I moved away from but my job and life forced me to leave them, that leads me to my reason for writing this. I do not understand why Pro Shop workers feel the need to be rude, short, and downright unprofessional to paying customers. If your course is open until 8 PM and I show up at 6:30 pm to hit a bucket of range balls, I do not see the need for a worker to say "you sure you want to hit balls? I don't get why you would come so late." All I wanted was a friend…

Came into town yesterday and played. Gorgeous course, and staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend. Play was a little slow, but I wasn’t in a hurry at all

Great experience at a municipal golf course. I play here every year when I am in the area. Course is in great shape, staff are friendly and professional, and the price is right.

I went and played cda public for the first time. Being from Spokane I didn’t know what to expect. Thankfully, after walking into the clubhouse I was greeted by such a warm and welcoming gentleman named Luke. He was so nice, professional, and kind. I hope he he gets a raise. He truly deserves it. His customer service and knowledge of golf was outstanding and so helpful. Thank you Luke for being at the CDA public.

Awesome food, clubhouse atmosphere of course because it’s a golf course. It’s great that they’re keeping it open throughout the winter months with bingo and trivia nights as well as special dinner nights.. check out their website.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this golf course due to the behavior of several staff members. In all our years of golfing, we have never encountered such unprofessional and discourteous treatment. We were unfairly reprimanded for "playing slowly," despite there being no group behind us and several instances where we were waiting on the group ahead. To make matters worse, staff continued to make sarcastic remarks upon our return to the clubhouse, saying things like, “Wow, finally, you decided to play fast,” in front of other patrons. This was both embarrassing and completely u…
