In summary

City Park Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained condition, challenging greens, and stunning views of downtown Denver, with a newly renovated clubhouse that enhances the overall experience. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness and professionalism, while the course layout, particularly the back nine, is appreciated for its character and elevation changes. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the driving range facilities and the restaurant's food quality, and a few find the front nine less engaging.

Super clean new golf accommodations and golf course. Very well designed layout for both kids which includes state of the art practice facility, for the young and adults, including special programs like the First Tee Junior golf program.

Great golf course. Beautiful new club house. The course was in perfect condition. The greens are very challenging. The price was great considering the wonderful condition of the course. Staff was friendly. Really enjoyed my round.

It's a decent parkland golf course. It looks like they spent a lot of money on the renovation but ran out of money when working on the front 9. The back nine is nice. It plays on the side of the property that faces downtown and as a result, has a little character and style. There's more elevation changes on the back. The front nine is boring, uninspired, flat, muni golf. I wasn't impressed with the bunkering complexes. I thought they could have been deeper and more penal. City Park also falls victim to the cardinal sin of an architect that's squeezed for room. They try to make up the distance…

I had never thought I could find a golf course that compares to how bad Denver is, but yup smack in the middle is City Park. 60… yes SIXTY DOLLARS FOR WALKING in basically off season! Just like Denver it is over priced and disgusting. The range mats was in horrendous shape, the course had trash EVERYWHERE! How on God’s green earth is this 60$!? Thank god for the incredibly kind and fun to talk with staff. But that is its only selling point. Will never be going back. This course should be 25$ to walk and 35$ to ride. Go literally anywhere else. Or Pay double and at least end up at Arrow Head. 2…

City Park is a great track in the city. Beautiful views of Denver from the east side. Well kept and in great shape right now.

2021-August, party of 8. We went for Sunday lunch. Lots of parking. Service was great. Price was decent. View is pretty. Food was good! Overall great. Would come back here again. The only thing is, the umbrellas outside cannot be angled, so the hot sun came down on one side of the table. Very uncomfortable. Bon Appétit!

Damn the greens are fast! Tough course, I've played in the city park amateur the last two years and they do such a great job putting it on! Very grateful for the work they put in for it!!

The absolute worst fish and chips that I’ve ever had. Definitely not fresh and hand-battered. More like freezer burnt and over fried. The servers were somehow right in front of me yet not there at all. Eyes only for their phones or computers and seemed really busy without actually doing anything visibly productive. At least not productive in checking on me to see if I needed anything, which I did. After I received my food there was no more attention except when I asked for my check. I’ve been here before and had some decent sandwiches and the steak tips aren’t bad. Not great and well flavored…

Was not playing, just a local walking through. Was walking through and had an extremely bad experience with a "player" driving up to me in a cart. Mind you I was with my Husband and he rode right up to us and asked "You know this is a Golf course right" as if anyone walking through the park not wearing a pollo and swinging a club is too dumb to realize where they are. After telling this "patron" that yes... Indeed I did understand that where I was is a Golf course and we were just taking a walk. As this is supposed to be a public area. I was berrated. The fact that living in the area and havin…

3.5 Stars. Its a typical muni course. Hitting off matts. Flatfish course. Well maintained course and friendly staff. Amazing views of the front range and Downtown Denver Great restaurant with amazing views

The driving range situation is really frustrating. For the last few months, we’ve been hitting of a rolled out carpet mat placed on concrete. There’s no way to tee up, and you’re not allowed to step forward to tee up on the dirt, so you can’t practice with your driver. I don’t know why they got rid of their bay mats, but those were definitely preferable to this crummy situation.
