Overland Golf Course

It's a good course and was in good shape when we played it. Most staff were fine, but they need to teach the rangers how to do their jobs. The ranger literally watched us wait for the fairway to clear before we teed off, then told us we were 2 minutes behind pace. I don't know if you know this, but hitting into people is not only incredibly rude, it is also dangerous. Meanwhile, the group behind us was more than a hole behind, they weren't even on the previous tee box yet while we were teeing off, but the ranger didn't bother talking to them. Super friendly staff! Reasonably priced. Fun muni track. The course is never really in great shape, the greens are always unpleasant but it gets so much play that it's hard to fault them for that. If you're looking for a golfer's golf course this isn't it. But a great environment to have some fun

90 bucks with a cart for this course in the off season? What are we even doing anymore? This has got to change and loyalty pass holders should be rewarded not taken advantage of. 90 bucks with a cart for overland golf course in the off season is laughable and disrespectful to golfers everywhere.

One of my favorite City of Denver courses. Facility is nice, course is always in great condition. Two separate times I lost a wedge and Justin was able to track it down and get it back to me before I finished my round!!

Didn't go to golf, but to grab a burger and a beer for an early lunch on a Friday. Wasn't busy except for those coming in for a quick bite on the go as they were rounding out their game. My husband had to approach the counter with our selections...for which the server apologized for. He was more attentive and checked up on us more frequently after this. My first beer was a little flat - so ordered a different one after the first - much better. My burger was a little more done to my liking but had good flavor...and the onion rings were tasty. I think the course was well maintained and it was equally easy and a challenge. Great course to walk and the pricing was reasonable. My biggest issue was the staff. The people taking payments could care less, and weren't helpful but fine. What really got me was the starter. Some old guy smoking cigarettes non-stop while he's talking to you. I don't care if it's outside, your on the job, working, not on your break. They need to clean up their act here.

Enjoy the rainbow seen after Sunday’s rain showers on holes 13 & 14. Course is in good shape. Only complaint would be the grumpy, rude starter & bumpy 18th green.

Other than the typical golf-in-Denver-on-a-Saturday complaints (SUPER slow), there's not much wrong with this golf course. Nothing of note either, but great for an easy, cheaper round.

Someone broke my windshield while driving by, no one confessed to doing so and the staff didn’t care. Called Mike paavilainen the person in charge of this place, he never answered any of my calls. I had to wait for ever for a police response to get a police report made. What a shame golfers have no responsibility for damages they caused and this place should have a 50 foot high fence or be moved out of the city.

This is one of the first courses I worked on back in the day. Not going to age myself, but it has been a few decades. We renovated a couple greens to bring them up to standard as well as a few tee boxes. If I remember right, the grounds crew had done an amazing job keeping this old course in fantastic shape. Beautiful place.

Great staff, good driving range, course was in really good shape for January.

4 of us went out yesterday and something magical happened. An albatross on 13. I’m a long hitter and went Driver-PW on 13th hole (from the tips) and 2 perfect shots created the impossible. The other 3 were all right there watching it happen as I swung my approach. It was all over it and landed 5 feet short/left and got some side sauce and we all watched it drop. This course will be in a special place to me for the rest of my days. Course is in pretty good condition. Will be playing again
