I’ve been wanting to play this course all year based on reviews, and finally did on what might be one of the last open days of the year based on the forecast into December. I’m very happy I did. Even on a foggy, cool and damp morning I really enjoyed the round. The pro shop was well stocked with a nice bar, and the attendant was friendly. The course itself is a nice fairly open layout with many holes having very large greens. The back 9 is the star, in particular holes 14,15 and 16 with the ponds. The condition of the course for late November was surprisingly good. My only complaint was th…

Chippewa Golf Club is absolutely top-notch — the course conditions were immaculate from tee to green. Every fairway was perfectly maintained, the greens rolled true, and you can tell the staff takes real pride in keeping the place in incredible shape. It’s easily one of the best-conditioned courses in Northeast Ohio. But what really made the day stand out was Danny, the starter. He’s hands down the friendliest, most welcoming, and most knowledgeable starter I’ve ever met. From the moment we checked in, Danny set the tone for a great round — helpful, upbeat, and genuinely passionate about the c…

I drive an hour each way every time I play this course and I’m here well over a dozen times each season. My travel league likes to play here at the beginning and end of the season because they only have cart paths around the tees and greens, so can never tell you it’s “cart path only due to weather”. The course drains so well from the rolling hills that it stays in such beautiful shape year round. Holes 14,15,and 16 are about the hardest closing stretch in Ohio golf. Great food, great staff, and a pretty decent pro shop to boot. Go check out this gem called Chippewa!

What an awesome course. Great condition. Super tough greens. Plenty of trouble with safe zones to hit to for fun course management. Love playing there.

We had a group of 8 guys that travel in to play here. Super friendly staff, there was an over one hour delay on tee times due to heavy rains the night before. They handled it so well, even gave us free range balls. The course was fun, mostly open until you get to the back nine where there are some challenging uphill/downhill holes over water. We loved it. I also highly recommend that you rent one of the motorcycle golf carts. What a blast that was!

My new favorite golf course. Beautiful course very well maintained. Large greens and wide open fairways. Nice clubhouse with food, golf equipment and KENO. Golf carts are electric and GPS equipped.

Great public course. Layout is A+. They take great care of course. The course is very 'score-able' and includes the difficult ‘triangle’, three holes on the back (back nine much more difficult). Carts are the best in the state, public. Can get very busy. Worth a little drive. Greens are large and roll pretty well. Can get a little beat up and bumpy because course gets so much play. Will be back!

Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown is ONE OF THE BEST PUBLIC COURSE OHIO HAS TO OFFER! They course is not only Beautiful but it is also challenging. Once you play here you will know about the 3 Holes that make the Triangle! The staff here is great. They do serve a little food and drinks. They Carts are All electric. They are super smooth, quiet, and have built in GPS and Bluetooth. You can see the course, how far out you are, and where other golfer are if they are over the hill and cant see them! They also offer the Golf Bikes by Finn Scooter. THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN. Again all electric, smoother t…

This course is challenging for amateurs, as the greens are maintained perfectly as are the fairways. This is the most professional-looking public course I've seen around NE Ohio. They have very comfortable carts with GPS and Bluetooth speakers.

55 minute drive to play here was well worth it. Friendly and competent staff, the course was in very good shape in spite of how dry it’s been in NE Ohio, and holes 14 thru 16 were the monsters we were warned about (keep your drives in play, and give the approaches here plenty of club). I typically won’t make this drive twice in a year to play a course, but planning to return in September.

It is a beautiful course and could be fun to play if it wasn't so slow. No ranger makes it even slower. We just played there in 5 hours and 8 minutes. Very painful. We also walk and still had to wait on the groups in front of us. No one knows how to play ready golf there. We even watched the same fools two foursomes in front of us pushing their carts because they either were too close to the greens or way off the permitted areas. This happened 6 times too. The instructions and the GPS use is listed in every cart. And the greens would be fantastic if players knew how to properly repair their ba…
