Barberton Brookside Country Club

Barberton Brookside is one of our favorite local courses. The staff is friendly, prices are fair, and the course is pretty well maintained.

This was my first time playing here. I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in very good shape. The Tees and greens were we'll taken care of. The club house left a bit to get desired but after talking with the group in front of me, it us being sold at the end of the season. It is a far drive from where I live but I was on the area and thought I would try it out. If you are looking for a good course with moderate challenges and a relaxed atmosphere; this is a very good fit.

This is my personal favorite golf course. It is neatly trimmed and has nice greens. If you come out on the weekdays, you can get a good deal for going out after the leagues, cart included. Good service up front, a full pro shop and bar with food and all. Great atmosphere too.

Green and fairway was good with reasonable price.

An ok first impression of this course. The layout is solid with several challenging holes and greens. Many holes have varying elevations. The course conditions were below average with several of the tee boxes being so worn down and burnt out which I'll chalk up to the heat and lack of rain the area has experienced. The course scorecard shows tees of white and blue but only the white tees were out during this round. For the price I paid (found a good deal on GolfNow) it was priced right but would never pay full price. Plenty of better options in the area.

Today I went there with my boyfriend, he had booked a tee time for 18 holes and a cart. When I got there they tried to get another $14 for me to ride along with him in the same cart claiming I was a "golfer" when I had no clubs and was in birkenstocks when I just wanted to ride along. When a couple miles up the road to a better course for a better price and they had no problem with me riding along! I will never be going back here!

Nice public course. The par fours tend to be short with smaller challenging greens, the fives are mostly over 500 from the whites. Par threes are a mixed bag, but 9 is a long 200 with a difficult green. There is a bar and food.

A great course that you can find some solid deals in GolfNow. We paid $16 for 18 with cart. Can't beat that. Excellent fairways and greens. Would have given it 5stars if not for midly uppity members complaining to course Marshall because we "looked like we didn't belong on course". Good course and good price but try to avoid the cranky, troll course members if possible.

The course is in decent shape especially with respect to the tees, fairways, and greens. However, there are signs the club is declining like directional signs need painting, the clubhouse is old and going down hill, and pavement in all areas is poor. I have heard the club is planning on being sold next year.

We had our church golf outing here at Barberton Brookside a few weeks ago (August) and from the planning stage to after the event; it could not have gone better. I have never planned a golf outing, so Joe met with me ahead of time and helped me set up all aspects of a golf scramble. Since I was playing, that left my wife to do the setup for the dinner afterwards which concerned me because some of our helpers did not show up. They charge $49 far as I’m concerned it’s a $25 course ....biggest dog track I’ve played in a long time . Tea boxes was a joke......place is not taken care of at all ...run down ...rough is totally out of control...Come to Stark County play some real nicely groomed golf courses.... Very disappointing
