In summary

Chariot Run Golf Club is highly praised for its pristine course conditions, challenging yet fair layout, and welcoming staff. The club offers excellent amenities, including GPS-enabled carts and well-maintained practice areas, in a scenic, secluded setting. While most experiences are positive, a few visitors noted issues with water availability and cart shortages.

Beautiful course with incredible amenities. The free range balls were awesome and the putting, and chipping greens were pristine. The layout and conditions were fantastic. We drove a little over 2 hours to play and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

First time playing this course and it was truly worth every penny and worth the drive. I arrived directly from Hawaii to meet my family and was greeted with smiles. I asked if they had a locker room with showers and surprisingly was told yes. They offered me a towel and it had everything you needed. The course was in great shape and greens were rolling smooth and fast for being soft. Ive played around the world and will definitely recommend this course to anyone in the area. Thank you so much for have a great facility and a tough course. 🤙🏾

Great golf course - I played in pretty rough wind but the course was both challenging in distance but manageable for mid-high handicappers.

Golf course is always in immaculate condition. Greens fast and pure. Front nine has more of a linksy feel, while the back nine has more land movement and some stunning holes. Staff is great inside and outside. Well worth the price. Best public course within a 50 mile radius

Incredible course in a secluded part of southern Indiana. Links style and rather difficult but not overly so. They had it in great shape and the best part was they didn't overcrowd it, although part of that is probably because it's 45 minutes outside of the city. The drive is worth it however.

I have played there twice. The hospitality is second to none. Fantastic links course. Worth a trip. Rained day before yet conditions were great.

Played 1st out last Tuesday. 1st class operation from beginning to end! Tough but fair track with beautiful views from anywhere on the course. I'll definitely drive 2 hrs to play this course again.

Played 36 and was not disappointed. Off of the beaten path but well worth it. Links style with very fast green (12’s when I played). Friendly staff with nice amenities.

Stopped by Chariot Run for the first time on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. I thought I might have trouble getting on as IU had a bye week. No worries, I practically had the course to myself. VERY reasonable price. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll be back!

It was in great shape so hats off to the greens crew. I think most of the holes look similar on the front nine. Quite expensive (exchanging CAD to USD sucks at the moment) but the customer service is top notch. I wouldn’t run back to play it…but happy to have tried it. In fairness, it is a top level course…and the back 9 has some class holes. If you have 3 courses to play near Louisville this should be one of them to say you tried it (it’s in Indiana but only a 45 minute drive from Louisville).

Had a great day of weather and the course was in good condition- greens were super fast and surprisingly firm. 14-15-16 are fun holes!
