In summary

Champion Hills Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful greens, and interesting layout, which offers a mix of challenging and less demanding holes. The staff is often described as friendly and professional, contributing to an enjoyable atmosphere. While the restaurant receives high marks for its quality and diverse menu, some visitors have noted issues with service during large events and occasional inconsistencies in food quality. Additionally, the transition from private to public/private has led to increased course traffic, which some members find less appealing.

We had dinner at an event with over sixty people. The menu had wine pairings from song hill winery. It was first rate.

Heard great things. First time playing here..was excellent experience. Pro shop guy was cool, other players were relaxed and nice. Course was excellent considering all the rain - I can tell this place is fun when it dries out a bit. Interesting layout too - good mixed holes

A great 9 hole course! Well-kept course, beautifully manicured greens. The staff are steller. I really enjoy the atmosphere and all the organized leagues they have. It's a very well-kept secret. HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. Just played Night golf under the harvest moon... specular night.

Fun, par 33 course. Condition is outstanding, and seems to have gotten even better under the new owners.

My wife and I snuck out for a quick 9 holes and were amazed at the pristine condition of this course. We both stated during the round how we felt we were golfing at private club. The greens were in fantastic shape, the rough was plush and green. Most local public courses now look like hay fields and the greens are deteriorating due to the recent drought. Not Champion Hills! Definitely worth a try and I hear the restaurant is fantastic as well.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night! Was expecting a simple golf menu! But I was mistaken!! Small but amazing menu and everything was amazing! Well rounded menu for all!!! And when we left honestly felt like family!!! The staff is very professional and friendly!!! Can’t want to go back and maybe even play 9!!’

Great little course that is very well maintained. Not super challenging (pretty short course) but still requires decent play. All the holes are kind of isolated so there is not a big fairway next to the hole you are on to slice into, only OB and water hazards. Been a member for a few years and it is definitely worth the money. It is also not usually too crowded and can get out easily for a quick 9 holes and be done in an hour or less. Edit: after being a member for the last 3 years, the course has gotten incredibly busy (they went from private to public/private). I used to be able to squeeze…
