Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course

Great course, pretty well maintained. Only 9 holes but not too expensive. They have a putting area and a net where you can hit into. The course is pretty straight so not too hard and a little short but I enjoyed how hilly it is, which adds some difficulty because of the lie. I would definitely recommend playing here for a quick 9!

Absolutely amazing course. I shot 9 holes but wishing I would have went with 18. Course was very well kept, course crew was very mindful of golfers when passing by, even waiting for them to finish the hole they’re on before finishing mowing, picking up branches, etc. The value was great and I will most certainly be back often.

I agree with Parker Henson!!! My back yard looks better than the fairways. The course management was indeed a aweful display of heart!!!! Will not be returning!!!!

Good place for playing golf.

They call it "The Hill" for a reason. Up one side, down the next ,lol. It's a nice-short course. We enjoyed it. Our only problem was that the greens were slower than we are used to and a little less than smooth.

Great municipal course! They have a putting area, chipping green, nets and at a great price! We play there almost every week on a long lunch break and they really do an awesome job keeping up with the course even during the super dry times. Don’t sleep on this place because it’s a muni hole 2 is an impressively challenging hole 😅

Went for the Disc golf course (winter course is in now). Very nice park with play ground, skate park, Pavillion with tables and a rest room

It had been 15 years since I last played here. Stop by for nine holes and it was in great shape pace of play was good. Good deal 👍

We went on a Sunday afternoon without a tee time when they were fully booked (whoops!). The staff could not have been more helpful and kind about it. They easily could have told us to leave, but they found a way to make it work. Beautiful views, soft greens, and a fun layout. Give it a try!

The course was nice . The staff was great except for the Marshall. He was extremely disrespectful to me and my group. If you have specific rules to implement that are out of the ordinary realm of golf, there is always a respectful way to announce them. Other than that it was fun and a good challenge .

Extremely short course without much in the way of fairway hazards. Inaccurate approach shots towards the smallish greens can oftentimes leave one with challenging chips. The fairways and greens are some of the best I've seen in Virginia. Excellent views. Will be playing here often.
