Yankee Springs Golf Course

The turf was well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. There was live music that added to the mood, and the food was decent. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The course offered a range of difficulty levels. Overall, it wasn’t too challenging, but the greens were so smooth that it was hard to score well.

Staff was super friendly and the courses were well maintained. The greens were outstanding, some way more challenging than others. Only one hole stood out as particularly tight (8 on the white course), all others felt wide open and fun to drive the ball with good recovery if you ding the shot. Had a great time and shot well!

I always love this course - high quality golf at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is good too. Yesterday I went for a weekday afternoon round and got around 18 holes in 2:15. There were people out there too, it was just moving along great! It also helps that at the turn, they'll let you know which 9 to play next to get through your round as smoothly as possible. Definitely get out to Yankee Springs.

Wayland VFW Golf Outing 2025 (my 4th year). Course is well kept and challenging enough to be fun. Always a great time. Food was good (dogs at the turn and lunch during awards. Our cart couldn't outrun its own shadow. Barely made it up the steep hills. Other than that, had a great time!

My husband and I took a golf lesson with Bob. He was very patient and knowledgeable. The course is beautiful. We are looking forward to going back in the very near future.

Absolutely loved the cart we got! The throttle was opened up so you couldn't walk faster than it! Only had to run half pedal and it was great! I really dislike having to flat foot the cart to get somewhere. Course was in excellent condition and the greens were awesome! Not sure if the greens keeper was getting back at someone, but the pin locations were very tough 😅. Very pleased that they are really going all out to make it a very nice place!

If you like a course that is flooded with leagues/lessons during the week, constantly running out of golf balls for the driving range, doesn't leave spots open on the range when there are lessons, and doesn't communicate or post when they have the leagues and lessons are so you can try to plan around them.... then this course is for you. Everyday is a guessing game.

Good course for the money but question for the owner: Why no twilight golf? Orchard Hills right down the road does twilight starting 6pm for $30. Yankee should follow suit.

Miserable Golf course, how anyone could give a positive rating is beyond me. They receive 1 star because they refunded me money after 9 holes. While on the third green, we are greeted by 9 4-somes coming out for an outing. Mind you, we're already waiting behind two 4-somes that won't let our 2-some play through, when they're duffing each and every shot. Regarding the course itself, not a flat tee box in site. They did say they screwed up when I went to get a refund, so at least they didnt lay blame elsewhere, I'll commend them for that. Offered me another 2 rounds which I respectfully declined…

Beautiful course! First time golfing here and the nice man in the pro shop helped guide us. Love the scenery and outdoor atmosphere. Definitely will return!

Late to review. Always enjoyed this course. Earlier this season we had a large group outing that reserved a t time month or more in advance. We get there to see a massive golf outing and we were told they don’t have room for us. After telling them when we reserved at time they said we make can room for 9 holes only but come back after the turn. So we come back after the turn and allow us to do another 9. So no problems really. Until the heavy set worker comes on a cart on our 2nd to last hole saying if we don’t finish in 5 minutes he will have to kick us off for the next outing. THE MOST STUPI…
