In summary

Broadmoor Country Club is appreciated for its challenging yet friendly layout and affordability, making it a good option for casual golfers. Many visitors commend the friendly staff and recent improvements in course conditions, particularly the fairways and greens. However, some criticisms include inconsistent maintenance, particularly of bunkers and rough areas, and issues with customer service and course management, such as scheduling conflicts and lack of signage.

Been coming here for 15 years since I was a kid. Over the years I’ve seen improvement and was very impressed from last seasons course conditions. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t Thornapple or Quail, but for a mom and pops golf course it’s great. Fairways are in good condition. Greens run slow but if you play here you already know that. Personally love to walk and I’ve yet to find a better rate in Grand Rapids. Don’t forget the new parking lot, sure is a nice upgrade. Shoutout Broadmoor for not selling to folks looking to do housing development!!!

The service was absolutely atrocious. Booked an afternoon tee time for 18 holes. Played a fast front 9 in about 1.5 hours. We made it to the turn to find 2 different leagues teeing off the front and back. The starter on the back told us to tee off 1 and play the front 9 again. Tee starter at 1 said we’re too late and there’s nothing he could do for us. Tucker at the pro shop tried to get tough with us and said he warned us. He tried to give us a rain check and refused to refund us for the remaining 9 holes. No way to treat a senior citizen and disabled vet.

This course stinks relative to the cost, they want $54 for 18 and a cart in March, lol. It's not worth that in June. They don't keep up on the course, there are no distinguishable fairways, the greens are awful, they don't even keep water in the freaking ball washers, year round. Don't waste your money.

The majority of these reviews are funny. For Broadmoor's price you're not gonna get Pilgrim's Run. $13 for Senior's to walk - awesome price. Obviously, long time golfers know what to look for: are the bunkers maintained; are the tee boxes maintained; fairways tight; etc. In my opinion: the bunkers need attention; the architectural layout is quite nice. Not bad for the price at all.

Decent open course. Could use some lawn maintenance though; awful lot of crab grass, even on the fairways.

Today we played 7 holes there. Had a tee time and tee was ready. Asked if we could play back nine but clubhouse kid said his boss did not like it if someone was playing through. No one was on hold 9 when I asked. We stayed on front and with in one hole ran into a sixsome of women with a foursome of women in front of them. They had no intention of letting us play through. Of course there are no rangers there to help. We skipped two holes to go around them. They looked mad that we did and would hold them up. They were on hold 7 as we drove out. I did mention in clubhouse but they really didn't c…

The people that run the course are always nice. I have to say the past few years we have gone to Broadmoor the fairways and greens were never great but this time out they were soooooo much nicer! They look great! It's a fun course to play very relaxed. I've never felt pushed or rushed when golfing here. Everyone is nice and respectful. I will continue to golf here

Course is in rough shape, little to no signage for where the next hole is, terrible staff and customer service, no refunds even if only able to play 6 of 18 holes. Save yourself the money and play at any one of the golf courses nearby. 0/0 stars

#ILOVEIT We had a golf outing here. Had the most fun I've had golfing in a long time. It's not the most up to date, not the best tech. But I'll tell you what. The staff trust the golfers to do the right thing. That's old school, and I LOVE IT! The greens are in great shape, The guys and gals running the show in the club house are informative and fun to talk to. Overall, I would take a bad day here over a great day at a lot of other courses. Check it

Bill, the ranger of the golf course was outrageously disrespectful. The golf course was in horrible condition, and the rough appeared to not have been cut since the revolutionary war. The girls up front working the desk were nice, but that doesn’t make up for the 45 minute wait for our carts (which we weren’t told were available until after WE PAID FOR THEM.) This golf course was me and my buddies last option in which course to play on a Wednesday afternoon due to others being booked (our experience explains why). Don’t golf here:)

Broadmoor Country Club is a very basic 18 hole golf course. It's great for a quick game. The fairways/greens are well maintained but the bunkers have been forgotten. None of the bunkers had rakes and most were more dirt filled than sand. I'll play there again in the future but there definitely better options.

Attempted to play this course today but stopped on the second hole. If your ball leave the fairways, even inches you won’t find it . I don’t think it has been cut this year. I asked the lady in the club house when they were going to cut it and if I could get a rain check until they do. But according to her they don’t give out rain checks. This course is normally hit or miss, but today it was horrible. I will never, ever play this course again, I am telling all my Grand Rapids golfing buddies to do the same.
