In summary

Yankee Run Golf Course is often praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging and unique layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual rounds and events. The course offers a rustic charm and a variety of amenities, including a restaurant and bar, which are appreciated by visitors. However, some golfers have noted issues with slow pace of play and areas needing maintenance, such as cart paths and bunkers.

Had a tee time this afternoon. All went well until we caught a group of 6. Yes , 6. Play was slow. The greens were fast, the fairways were nice, the cart path was pretty rough. The price was right. The service when making a tee time was great. Our cart died on the 7th hole. We limped it as far as we could and made it to the tee box on nine. We had the courtesy to push it out of the way. We walked to the clubhouse with our clubs and let them know that our cart was dead in the water on the 9 tee. The woman at the counter acted as if we caused an inconvenience. We had two groups behind us so in…

6/18/2024- first time playing here. Heard it was a fun track with a unique layout. This is a tough one… I called early am for info on a 330p tee time for 2 for 18. We got there early, club house seems old fashion and rustic feel. Checked in with starter who asked if we were told about the leagues going off…we were not told. He seemed a bit annoyed by that, but either way he went back and forth deciding which side to let us off. We eventually went off the front, where the fairway mower was right in front of us…seemed a bit strange for that time of day. I would know, I work at a county club cour…

I'm from Erie pa.i decided since our courses close at the beginning of November that I would go south and west to Ohio. We had a string of very warm weather for being November anyways I looked around and Yankee run kept coming up after reading reviews and seeing what the community did for this course when it was messed up by a tornado I decided to try this course to see what the hype was about. I'm really glad I did. They have a new customer for life. I have no problem driving 1.5 hours away to Yankee run a couple times a week. It says 6500 yards or something like that but this course felt lik…

I've been golfing here since I could swing a club. It's been almost 30 years and I still love to play this course. It's just long enough from the white tees to challenge you. The greens almost always putt true and have some tough breaks to read. Not alot of straight in, unless you place the ball well from the fairway. The greens are a nice size and very forgiving. I enjoy fixing a divot once in a while!! The fairways are mostly open with a few holes that you have to place your drive well to get a look in to the green. Some of the par 3s and 4s require distance as well, otherwise your putting f…

Extremely well kept course. Play was very good on both visits. The holes can be challenging, but also rewarding. If your looking for a course that you haven't played before or a course to call home, this is a great option. Kitchen serving food and drinks opens early AM, and full bar offer an entire day of options at this course. Alcohol prices are extremely fair.

Beautifully kept golf course. Well maintained greens and fairways. Nice driving area. Rick the golf pro has been here for several years and is respected in the community. He does a nice job with the goods for sale in the pro shop. The restaurant is apparently under new management and has dramatically improved. It's definitely worth taking the time to go out and enjoy a round of golf and finish your day off with a few cocktails and a tasty bite to eat while enjoying the live band provided during the spring /summer seasons! Gift cards are available to purchase for that someone special with discr…

Course is in fantastic condition. Greens roll true. Grounds crew does an excellent job. Best public course in eastern OH/Western PA.

Something is going on here. It's not good either. The course is in disrepair. The cart paths are terrible, sand traps need work and a lot of areas need clean up. Tees, fairways and greens are good though.

Challenging course. Old time club feel. Very very friendly staff. Only reason not more stars is the condition of the course. Tee boxes need work. Lots of bare spots and the greens were a bit spongey and most greens have various dead spots. Drove 1 hr and 25 minutes to play today. I will definitely be back and give this course another try.

Would’ve been 5 if they had a practice range. Only a small shag area and putting green. People were some of the most friendly I’ve encountered. They had an outing beginning as I finished and they organized and timed it perfectly. Will go back.
