What People Say

In summary

Oak Tree Country Club is frequently praised for its picturesque and challenging layout, offering a variety of hole designs that appeal to skilled golfers. The staff is generally regarded as friendly, and the course provides good value for its price. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, noting issues with greens, tee boxes, and bunkers, as well as occasional slow pace of play. Despite these drawbacks, some golfers still find the overall experience enjoyable and plan to return.

This course use to be Awesome, unfortunately not the case anymore! The last three years or so it has gone downhill each year. Greens got a fungus and are all chewed up. It was only a handful a few years ago and now it’s on every green. The Tee boxes were chewed up as well and uncut. Fairways were in decent condition. Too many Nicer Courses around this area to keep trying to give them another chance. It’s such a shame, use to be in my top five of Courses to Play. Range was closed as well?!? Only reason for 2 star is layout and fairways.

Overall, for the price, the course is a decent value. Most all of the greens are chewed up in some spots, some worse than others. Where they are not, they are slow and a bit patchy. It's still very playable. The fairways are decent, a few bare spots here and there, but not unplayable. The tee boxes were OK a bit wonky on some of them and tore up a bit. The layout was great, and the course is very pretty. There was no one on the course, and somehow, we got stuck behind two different groups playing super slow. Scores out of 10 Club house 6.4 Carts 6.8 Tee boxes 6.7 Fairways 6.6 Greens 5.7 Cour…

What a great find this course was!! I tend to be very critical of courses and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this course was for only $25 (M-F in October). Excellent condition, beautiful design, very picturesque! Staff very friendly...will definitely come back next year.

If you are a good golfer you should like this golf course. Why? You have to put the ball in the right spot in the fairways because of numerous doglegs. A really decent price for a great course. Ryan and course superintendent do a good job despite the challenging weather conditions that is rough on the greens and fairways. Play it from the back tees. See if you can break par.

Played Oak Tree yesterday for 47 bucks. Coming from out of town I expected county club to mean beautiful fairways, greens and t boxes. Not the case here... tree limbs over hanging into fairways ,animals are eating the turf leaving huge sections of torn turf, diseased fairways and greens left us very disappointed. Seems like the good times passed this place up.

The guy working the ProShop/taking calls. My friend called him to book a time for around 10:30 but was told 11:10 was earliest so we took that, then the guy asked if we’ve ever booked their before and my friend misheard him and he then slammed the phone down and hung up

Love the layout of this course but it was in very rough condition....we normally play this once or twice per year and seems like it has gone downhill a bit! Looks like the greens were done a week or so ago....still had lots of sand on them and it looks like some of them took some damage from the heat over the past couple of months.

Played there today. Course was actually in decent shape for the dry weather we've had the last 2+ weeks. Greens were good. Tee boxes were fine. No green tee markers, so we played 1 tee box behind the whites. Sand traps were not raked and caught a couple bad lies. Fairways were in good shape. Brown areas in the rough as would be expected with lack of rain. Not sure why there have been so many bad reviews. Play was slower then expected.

I truly love playing this course but it’s not one of the easiest courses for sure. Traps are in terrible condition. No maintenance to them whatsoever. Greens could use some TLC.Place is way undermanned. Still if you get there around 830 you can breeze through it. Got there at 830 and thought the place was closed

My favorite course in the area. Makes you think. Each hole is different than the last. Staff is friendly and polite.
