In summary

Winding Brook Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, interesting layout, and challenging holes, with many considering it one of the best courses in the area. Visitors commend the friendly staff and the course's affordability, particularly for a semi-private club. However, some express concerns about the condition of the fairways, lack of amenities, and occasional slow greens, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

This course provides a great layout & well manicured small greens. The fairways are not in the best of shape as it is hard to differentiate between fairway/rough in some areas. Still a great place to play.

Conditions were possibly the best I've ever seen them at the course recently. This is one of my favorite courses. However, it is getting more expensive every year and the lack of any other amenities makes you wonder where the country club part is. Also, the cart I was last given nearly died before making it back to the clubhouse at the end of the round. But overall still one of the best spots around.

It's a real nice course. However, I don't understand why the Owners don't take care of the fairways and ruff. Everyone says the same thing, but it's like the Owners Don't care. Come on guys, it's a real nice course, so take care of it. Thank you

This is the best track in the area. Nice length, good layout and the greens are in great condition. It’s not irrigated but when there’s enough rain, the conditions can be really nice. Sometimes it is hard to differentiate between the fairway and the rough…as others have said it is maintained about as good as 4 dudes can do it. If someone had a lil moola to dump into this place it would be amazing.

Nice course. It's in great shape. Fairways are a little spotty but the greens are beautifully kept. Nice electric carts. Interesting layout with a couple of really funky dog legs. Bunkers are all washed out from all the rain and are in desperate need of new sand. We played free lift from the bunkers. The most important thing is that we had fun.

One of the best kept golf courses in the area.

It's an ok course. Decent layout but the greens are soft and slow. Everything is typical low budget golf course stuff... All the grass could be an inch shorter. I wouldn't avoid this course but there are others that are better: Burden Lake, Capital Hills for example, and are about the same price.

Nice, challenging course. A downside is there's not much grass on the fairways, but lots of thin weed-like fill that doesn't hold the ball up so you're hitting off dirt. The restaurant and bar are closed but there's a grill that is open for about an hour for lunch. The staff could use a shot of personality and try to be welcoming or at least smile when people come up to the window to pay. For what is charged there are better courses to play.

Great family owned club. Semi-private but pretty easy to get tee times most days. Great rates for greens and carts. Plenty of necessities in Pro shop, too! Can play 18 in less than 4hrs.

Cool course but they do nothing and don't expect to try to go to the bathroom here because that place is disgusting there's nothing to buy no drinks no golf balls no teas no hats just the girl standing there ready to accept your money. Fairways are like rough rough is like the woods are still like playing there but there is no one there

Had a fundraising event at Winding Brook. They were awesome to work with, and their food was delicious.
