War Memorial Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, beautiful scenery, and strategic layout with elevation changes. The course is noted for being compact and accessible, making it enjoyable for players of all skill levels, while the surrounding park offers amenities like a splash pad and picnic areas, enhancing its appeal as a family-friendly destination. Wonderful golf course. Definitely some elevation changes that require a lot of decisions for club selection. Fairways and greens are very well maintained. Was the first time playing this course and would recommend it to anyone.

I was actually at the War Memorial splash pad. It was great. The kids had a blast. Plenty of trees for shade. So bring a blanket. The ice cream truck drives by every other hour. So if you want snacks, bring those too. Just be prepared for a picnic and a bunch of fun.

Beautiful place all times of the year, especially during the Summer when the water fountains are on for the kids to run around in! Perfect place for your kids to play, you to relax while watching ur babies play, a picnic, fishing, or playing golf. As well as a great tailgating area during the football games. Definitely one of my little family's favorite places to be in our spare time!

Had a church cookout for vacation bible school. Used the pavilion. Really good location, really enjoyed the fellowship. Kids had a great time.

The first course I ever played. It's a good course that has some holes that require strategy. Short enough that you don't have to be a bomber to score well.

I just enjoy playing here but, I wouldn't recommend playing when leaves are falling. You will lose balls because, they don't clear them. Also the greens need some work.

Really nice course right in the middle of LR! Short course overall, but peaceful and well-kept. Will definitely play there again

Fine course. No sand traps, relatively wide fairways, and several par 3s. On the other hand, almost always busy, and near the interstate on a few holes.
