In summary

Rebsamen Golf Course offers scenic views of the Arkansas River and Big Rock Quarry, with some players appreciating the affordability and overall layout. However, many visitors express concerns about course conditions, such as hard greens and poorly maintained fairways and bunkers, as well as slow pace of play and unhelpful staff. The lack of a nine-hole rate and issues with booking and practice facilities are also noted as drawbacks.

Fun course with great scenery of the Arkansas River and Big Rock Quarry. The course quality itself is "mid" with hard/fast greens. If you're a serious golfer used to private courses then this one's probably not for you. If you're a more casual player wanting a relatively open and forgiving course then I think Rebsamen is fine. The game play gets slow on the weekends, so best to get early tee times if you want to finish your round.

*Updated 2025* This place continues to deteriorate. I had a couple of hours to come by and practice. Practice greens don’t have any holes cut in them, just flags stuck in the green. I went to hit a few balls on the range and I see a sign that says the range is closed for “maintenance” but there wasn’t a worker in sight. Don’t really know what maintenance a field with posts in it needs. Grass tees on the range are so rarely open I’m not sure they do open them. You can’t book online anymore. But it’s the only 18 hole muni in Little Rock so what are people to do? I would consider Rebsamen as my…

Our mayor closed down the other two public courses in our city, so Rebsamen is it. They know it too. They do not offer a 9 hole rate, so you come out to play after work? Pay for 18. I decided to play the West 9, but also, no 9 hole rate. No nine hole rate, on a 9 hole track?? Ok then. The West 9 truly sucks. They can do so much better with this course. It’s a quick play, But they charged $30 to play it!! Check out the pictures. Look Rebsamen, we get that you have a captive audience being the only public track in town, but don’t take advantage of the public. Lower your rates for the West 9. Off…

If I could give zero stars, I would. This golf course is an absolute joke — and not the funny kind. More like the kind that makes you want to demand a refund, a formal apology, and maybe a tetanus shot for walking on their “fairways” (if you can even call them that). First off, the pace of play is a NIGHTMARE. We had an 11:00 AM tee time, didn’t tee off until 11:45, and somehow still didn’t make the turn until nearly 3:00 PM. Why? Because this greedy little money trap packs tee times 6-7 minutes apart like it’s a factory line. Yet still manages to have 20-minute gaps between groups because no…

You get what you pay for I guess. It's a cheap course and it is obvious why. The bunkers are basically concrete. There are a ton of trees that should be cut down and leaves under them which make it impossible to find your ball. I lost count of how many shots I had that I saw go under a tree then couldn't find my ball because of all of the leaves. The staff is mostly rude & slow (I think they are on pills) There's no course marshal to manage slow play & no cart girl. They do not serve liquor, only beer. There are some decent views along the way. I'd play here again just because it's cheap but i…

Ngl I was super impressed with everything. From the pro shop to the greens. Was a very beautiful course and was very fun to play. Definitely highly recommend and it won’t break the wallet.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is without a doubt the worst course I have ever played. The greens were completely unkempt and tiny. The fairways were like hitting off concrete. The grass looked like it had been cut for the first time in months and it was scalped. As far as the layout for this course, the person who designed this had to be on drugs. There were multiple holes with trees in the middle of what should be the fairway. The bunkers were plentiful and hard as a rock. Forget about par threes they are all WAY TOO SHORT. All that for the cost of $41 on a Saturday. I would rather eat gravel…

It was OK. For $25 per person it was great. There's probably a really nice public course hiding under all the landscaping and watering that's being ignored for any number of reasons. Pretty easy layout. Again, if you want decent golf for a really good price then this is the move.

Often have problems with slow pace of play. There needs to be more rules enforced for groups of 5+, It took 2 hours to play 9 holes. Otherwise a very good golf course for only $26 fee.

The reviews on this course having 100 and 4 stars in SO MISLEADING. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This course is nothing less of trash. The assistant, and workers and so bad. Rude, unhelpful. The condition of the course is terrible. To be dead honest the greens were ok. The fairways and tee boxes are unplayable. Seriously golf somewhere else. This place is stuck in 1970. We had 6 groups on 1 hole! 6!!! They wouldn’t give a refund or even a simple rain check to comeback and play. Multiple groups just left. What a joke, the way they treated everyone. Honestly hope this place gets saved or sh…

Excellent course. Greens are always manicured. No dead spots. Bunkers are beautiful sand and never hard packed. Course layout is interesting and challenging. Best round of golf under $50 dollars you can find
