The Ridge at Castle Pines North

Too 59 course in Colorado for a reason. I work in golf and this experience was 5 star. The beautiful conditions, great bag service and quality 19th hole where we watched a golfer air mail 18 was great. Made me almost want to hit into the bunkers because the whole course was pure.

The course is beautiful. Challenging but still fair. You can’t beat the views and the scenery. Currently there is a lot of maintenance work being done on the course so if you go in the next few months be prepared for that. They are giving a gift card to use in their shop for the inconvenience. I always enjoy playing The Ridge

We were given warning that some of the bunkering on the front was still being worked on but would be finished in a week. The management also acknowledged that the course wasn't up to their standard, so they gave each person a $25 shop credit (Great... spend more on things I don't want. I'd rather you just gave me $25 off the price). I figured there would be several bunkers that looked finished but just weren't to be played out of to let the everything set. I was wrong. Beautiful course and the tournaments they host are amazing!

I'm giving it 4 stars because of the staff. There were multiple holes with multiple staff where they kept their machines running right at the tee box or on the green. Putting while the lawn mower runs 15 feet from you is distracting. They had no care in the world. Otherwise the course was in phenomenal shape except for maybe one green. For $115 for a round the golf is challenging and fun. I'd come back again but would like to see some basic staff training.

I enjoyed myself and had a fun, challenging round. I’m not sure I could justify the $145 weekend price tag though, hence the 4 stars. Views are phenomenal around the course. A few small parts could have been in better condition, but the lack of recent rain is likely the issue there. I’m glad I was invited and would play again if someone offers to pay for me. Otherwise I’ve as good a time at locations I find to be better bang for the buck. Have fun!

If you are a golfer this place is great, but even if you are not - its a amazing place to just grab lunch and/or a cold beverage and enjoy a awesome view and overall atmosphere. The nachos from the appetizer menu are amazing! I order them as my meal as they are a lot of food. Good size portions, always fresh, hot and yummy. Also the staff is always very nice. Michelle waited on me on my last trip and she was very good and really friendly. And the view is one of the best I have ever seen. Remote, quiet and peaceful. This place is the perfect escape!

Beautiful course, great staff and pro shop. Comped is $50 gift cards because they had recently punched the greens. Every course has to do it but no every course knocks $50 off their fees for it.

Only really leaving the two stars for the service being nice and the course being in good condition. But holy hell, the last 5 times I've played here I've had 5 1/2+ hour rounds, and watching slow groups not be sped up. Especially if people are going to pay $170+. Not interested in coming back until they address pace of play issues.

Beautiful course in great shape. It is quite challenging but the ridiculous speed of the greens makes putting almost a nightmare. Make no mistake you will three putt and might even four putt. Chipping is extremely difficult because the ball will just bound forever. Great views and ample room in the fairways to drive. Staff were very nice. Does baffle me that you would build a public golf course that is challenging to begin with and then make the greens so difficult.

UPDATE- This course is not worth $199. While the bunkers have been redone, the course is in poor shape. The green on seven, the fairway on 15, the tee box on 17, etc. Also you pay ahead of time and then when you go to use a rain check the kid behind the counter cries abt it and you almost have to get tht manager. If you want to play an elevated public course just go to plum creek. As others have mentioned, the sand traps are the weak link on this course, but every but everything else was in great shape. We played an early round but only saw the beverage cart at two and seventeen. Seems like…
