In summary

The Links at Hemlock Creek is praised for its beautifully maintained course, friendly staff, and excellent event hosting, with many guests enjoying the food and service provided by Craft Catering. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the behavior of the course marshal, describing encounters as overly strict and intrusive, which detracted from their overall experience. Everything was alright until Benny shows up and yells at me and my friends while we're broken up 4-2. He had threatened after we'd already said we're going to break in which we did. I understand the rule of 4 per tee time but he still had the audacity to come and yell. this isn't my first interaction as the previous time he'd yelled at me and two friends as we let a group of one play through and he then yelled because apparently waiting for him wasn't acceptable.

Very nice links style course. Nice and open bit still with challenges.

Beautifully kept course! Best in the area! Where the rough is the roughest, and the greens are the greenest. They are a little slower than many courses but that, added with the other challenges of the short course make it fun to play. The rough will eat your ball and kill your club speed! Please fix the tee boxes.

The course is fine—greens were okay, pace of play was decent—but the real highlight was the cart Marshall, who I can only describe as the self-appointed Sheriff of Golf Cart Law. Big guy on a cart who rolled up like we were fugitives from the Cart Path Rules Handbook. We followed every sign to a tee (pun intended), but he still accused us of crimes against golf course etiquette. This wasn’t my first run-in with him either—dude seems to wake up every day and choose misery. Pretty sure he’s not even getting paid, just fueled by rage and an unholy sense of authority. Told us “you aren’t gonna pl…

Burnt out Fairways that are so severely sloped, that you are punished for making good shots. Tee boxes that require a drill to get the tee in the ground. Yet, the SLOWEST greens I've ever played. Do yourself a favor and skip this course.

I played 18 today during twilight times 3-close. I’m a beginner, but this was one of the nicest courses I’ve been to, compared to my local courses back in Michigan. The course overall is forgiving besides a couple holes in the front 9, the back 9 is one of my favorites I’ve ever played. The greens were actually the best greens I’ve putted on, the tee-boxes are clean, fairways are also great. The staff was also very friendly, and just try to make your golf experience a better time than you thought it would’ve been. Overall an amazing course, definitely will be coming for a round again.

Real cow pasture. Greens really slow. Play really slow, probably due to rough that is cut really uneven if cut at all. Lost balls everywhere. Can hit your ball just off of green and have trouble locating. Really needs some TLC and attention to green. Very spongy.

The Link's is the closest golf course to us which makes it convenient, but unfortunately the staff has consistently been extremely rude. From the front desk person giving us nasty side comments, to the insufferable marshall who follows you around every single hole and finds any little thing to complain and reprimand you about. If I had three thumbs, they'd all be down - I don't recommend this course. Not to mention, the course itself is unkempt compared to the price you pay.

The bar for events is extremely overpriced. The owners charge you more for the more you buy. If I'm willing to spend $1000 for a wedding in alcohol at $4 a beer, I should not have to pay an additional $200 in service fees when I could have just paid $1000 in cash and paid $100 to "stock" the bar (it's already stocked. Let's be real). Don't get me started on the "bar" plans. $28 A PERSON?! Even at their overinflated prices, that's 6-7 drinks a person to break even. If it was my choice, I would have gone completely dry and not given a dime to these greedy people. The staff knows it's ridiculous…

We had our 5th class reunion there. The staff did a great job. All of the food was fantastic.

We had an event at The Links over Labor Day weekend, and the service was outstanding. All the guests commented how great the food was, and the event coordinator went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful evening. The facility is beautiful and had plenty of room including the outdoor deck. Highly recommend!
