Most golf courses aren't on the side of a very large hill. Talked to the probable curator today. It only used to be a 9 hole course which only had 3 ponds. Hence the name. Today is 8 or 9. Great elevation changes that mess with you. Roughs are tall and actually rough. The greens, usually you pick a line and try the speed. These greens are done so well, you can literally swipe your hand and feel how they cut the grass and which way the ball will run and which way it's going to scuff. Hole 18, their cheat card literally days don't aim for the fairway, it's too much of a slope from left to right,…

A nice surprise stopped there because on our way back home and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a rachel and a burger and both were excellent. The food is reasonably priced and the service is excellent. Give them a try , you will not be disappointed

We were there for Santas Christmas Village. There was phot props for the kids, a Christmas tree, and a little gift shop all about Knoebels. There was also a snack bar, a model train display a a fire pit for making smores. I hear Santa was there before Christmas but we didn't attend then We will definitely return next year.

I had a tee time for 7:45 a.m. I got there and it wasn't very busy. I was golfing by myself so I jumped to the 3rd hole on the front nine. It was somewhat challenging. It had some rolling hills sand traps and a few water hazards. After I finished up I was told that the back nine was even more challenging with the 10th hole dog-legging left in a water hazard right on the dog leg. Course was really well maintained. There are portions of pretty deep rough but the fairway and greens were immaculate. If you're coming to Knoebel's and want to squeeze in nine before the family wakes up why not? Park…

Great course. Great staff. Finally became a member after playing for a few years here. I consider it my home course. The front 9 fairways are pretty much open. They have orange junior/novice tees. Well kept course. The grounds maintenance crew, work hard to maintain this course. They are always seen somewhere on the course and are very courteous to the golfers as to not interfere with your game. There are challenges on every lie you can think of to include bunkers and water hazards. If you're looking to work on above or below the feet lies, you'll do it a lot on this course. Greens are oversiz…

Excellent course! Challenging, yet family and amateur friendly. Carts are nice and new, course and greens are well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Also, the nickel plate bar and grill that is attached has great food and good beer. We will be coming back soon.

The Christmas Village was nice but not a whole lot to do and not a lot of food or drink options. I probably would skip this all together until you wanted to sit down at the restaurant they have here.
