The Habitat at Valkaria

I was over from Fort Myers working, and decided to go play at this course. I'll tell you what, this is a very well maintained public course. I will definitely be back there to play when I'm over in that area working again. Y'all are awesome.

great course that's fairly well looked after. easy access, great rental clubs when needed. food service can be quite slow but the food is good and decent selections on both food and drinks. starter here is easy going and the tees and greens well kept. carts are slow but ok for the money. will always play here whenever I'm in town.

I played this course 30 years and was a regular member....then moved away to different parts of the country. Since that time, I have played many courses with different grasses, greens and climates. This course was average when I left but now it is in great shape, has a great staff and wonderful service! Highly recommend playing and plan to do it again.... Great course. Friendly helpful staff. The rental clubs were brand new Callaways and a complete set. Would highly recommend for vacationers who need rentals. Very satisfied, thank you

I treated my husband to golf here today. I've been here before but it's been some time. The staff is super friendly, prices are decent, course is well maintained, and even the fellow golfers are friendly. We were paired up with another twosome (a pair of older brothers) and had a blast. Overall it's a nice course to come play at. Fair warning, on the back nine, you'll have planes coming in low overhead for a landing.

Love this course. You could use all the clubs in your bag at this one. Greens are nice and the course is always kept well.

Great course. Nicely kept grounds. Tee boxes are nice and flat, fairways are perfect, and greens are well manicured. The price for 18 holes is about what I expected ($30.00). Overall, a fantastic day on the golf course. There are a couple pretty challenging holes, water and plenty of sand.

The course itself is great, but the staff and management are terrible. Won’t send out singles until after 4 pm, with no times being booked from 2:30 until 4. Easily the snarkiest municipal golf course within 30 miles. Every time you talk to someone at the front they have a terrible attitude. I love golf but only get the chance to get out once or twice a week and the course closest to me is not accommodating.

The course is beautiful, a lot of fun but not forgiving at all due to the vegetation. Worth it for how beautiful it is to play. Clubhouse meals are a little pricey compared to other local courses but the food was good.
